We have had the hot tub for 4 weeks now, we were happy with delivery and installation, they guys were very efficient and knowledgeable. It came about 2 weeks after ordering.
Our whole family have enjoyed the hot tub, we use it everyday, would recommend to anyone.

Good value hot tub but poor customer service.
Hot tub was delivered quickly and installed soon after placing order, unfortunately bluetooth was found to be faulty during installation.
Still waiting for Bluewhale customer services to respond and rectify the fault.

3 things broken on it when it arrived, never been
Turned up and had 3 things wrong with it! The Bluetooth speaker didn’t work, the pump had failed so it wouldn’t heat the water up and there was also a leak!!
Initially they wanted to repair it but I said no and they reluctantly agreed to replace it. Still waiting for them to come and take the old one away and replace with a new one, nearly a month on and still not been able to use it once! Not very impressed to be honest.

Fantastic Purchase
Great tub. Problem on delivery as it leaked, however when the pump was tightened it was fine. Could have easily been resolved if the engineers just checked all the joints when in installing. Other than that no complaints

Misleading description
Hot tub is good but the blue whale web site is extremely misleading in it’s description of the hot tubs and what they have built into them I was led to believe that the tub I purchased had a built inRCD also led to believe it was fitted with a heat pump but on further inspection after delivery it has neither very disappointed

Bluewhale Spa – Great to Deal With
Initially, the supplier Bluewhale requested photos upfront of the intended location for the hot tub as well as photos as the entrance to ensure it would fit. The only issue I had was having to submit photos of incomplete groundwork’s several weeks before it arrived. This meant Bluewhale didn’t really know whether the space would be suitable or not. As it happened, they arrived and said I would need to build a temporary ramp to get the hot tub into the space. There was a delay in installation due to this but I wasn’t charged extra. Inconvenient, yes but the company were excellent to deal with. Something else to bear in mind is if you want to use the heater and jacuzzi setting at the same time you NEED a 32 amp connection. This wasn’t clear in the instructions. However, a normal socket will allow either heat or bubbles – not both at the same time.
When you have the electrical works carried out by your electrician, make sure you ask for an installation certificate from them to validate your hot tub warranty. You only have 30 days from day of install to register the paperwork.
The installers were great and showed me how everything worked and how to maintain it.
The hot tub itself is brilliant. The number of jets is perfect and it maintains the heat well. The only issues I’ve had with it to date is the LED lighting can be temperamental. Sometimes they won’t switch on. However, turning the tub off and back on again by the isolator switch gets everything working again. I also have had issues with the chlorine tablet holder. It doesn’t work properly despite following instructions. So I’ve resorted to just tossing in chlorine granules instead. I’ve just bought a float too that sits on the water surface and slowly released the chlorine tablets.
The Bluetooth speaker needs a shout out too by the way. Excellent sound quality and volume.

Blue Whale Hot Tub Purchase
Excellent product, excellent price, first class customer service. We had the spa delivered and installed around 2 weeks ago and we have used it every day. My recommendation would be to take your time working on pre-delivery instructions and call the supplier to check details as some hot tubs do not need the delivery width stated. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Very good except for filter issue. Got stuck twice trying to remove it. Service however was good and blue whale came twice to fix. If not for filter issue this would be a 5. Love the hot tub…after we worked out the chemicals. More info on chemicals would have helped.

Poor design
While I was happy with the tub overall the design is poor for the water fou ntain, being that it’s too low, so when loaded with people it’s under water, if you reduce the water height it sprays all over the floor, also the music controls are far too low to operate

This is an amazing product at a great price. We looked at quite a few and this tub is great value for the spec. Fast and efficient delivery and installation. Only criticism would be that the demonstration on how to use the tub was rushed.
