Lid lifter – A Must-Have !
The hot tub lifter is a must have as it makes it so easy to lift open and to return closed. Our previous hot tub was without a lifter and to begin with it was fine as it was relatively light and easy to handle on your own, though we did have to find a place in the garden to store it and sometimes it would catch in the wind and blow over ! But after time the lid becomes heavier with water and requires two people to lift on and off which meant that my wife could use the hot tub when on her own. The lifter means anyone can operate the lid and take a dip even when on their own.

Blue whale spa
Treated ourselves to this wonderful spa after having an inflatable one for a few years. After a long wait for stock to come in, we finally took delivery of this. 2 guys placed in situ, connected & filled & we were good to go. It has been used at least 3 times a week ever since. Even in the snow!
My only disappointment was there is no manual on how to care for it or which products are needed when etc. I was told to phone supplier & they would tell me what I need to know.

Good hot tub for the money
Tub was cheapest in range but is still excellent and I am delighted. Some small issues that took the company to come back out and fix them. Electrically incorrectly wires (yes live neutral wrong way) I couldn’t understand why the engineers left saying it was working. When they set up/ test they do so without water as this takes too long to fill. Also they connect only to 13amp extension (not the main 40amp feed) hence why they had the power on to set up but when I switch to main it tripped the mains. Anyway they returned and fixed it. The level isn’t perfect either not bad but maybe 5cm lower on one side versus other so annoying. Insulation could be better now the costs of electricity have gone crazy. One improvement suggestion I have is better way to drain the tub. Unfortunately the water is retained I. The seats and the lower footwell so you have to physically get in with small tip to scoop out. Must be better way to engineer this problem away. Overall delighted with the tub for the money

Excellent Addition To Hot Tub
Excellent addition to our Blue Whale Spa tub – makes the on/off of the lid SO much easier. Fitted it in 2 hours – trickiest bit is ensuring two side fittings are lined up before drilling. thinkassemble.co.uk is cheaper than elsewhere – highly recommended.

Cover Lifter
Definitely makes taking off the cover much easier – especially as my hot tub is 2100 x 2100
The only downside is that it is quite high when the cover is off, so you have to take care with which way you place it

Cover Lifter – Really helps.
Bought this to go with the hot tub that I ordered, makes lifting the cover a lot easier and fitted by the installation team at the same time as the hot tub, very pleased with it all.

Really pleased with the tub but wouldn’t buy the mechanical lid lifter as creates a complete block of view on one side when lifted as doesn’t drop to ground. This was disappointing.

Wrong item sent
Wrong item sent, not suitable for purpose (only for a wooden surround and our blue whale tub has plastic/acrylic surround), so have rung to organise a return.

Poor quality control,
The hot tub arrived damaged, when the tub was filled it leaked, and the radio/ Bluetooth wasn’t wired up correctly.

Top bit of essential kit for your tub.
Been used for a month now, really handy and easy to use. The small black plastic screw covers are a bit fiddly, but easily solved with a bit of adhesive. Job done.
