These little cameras are great for local security. I have bought two, one for my back gate, but one as a temporary measure in the bedroom, to stop prying little eyes, finding Christmas presents. Fabulous deterrent. Very cheap and just as good as ring cameras. Connects well to the WiFi, and easy to set up. Thanks.

Bought two. They replaced existing blink mini cameras. Fitted onto existing brackets, plugged straight in. I’d already registered them indoors before fitting so once powered up connected straight away to the sync module 2. Great picture, it is an improvement on mini, although they are good. Well worth the money (black friday deal).

I can’t compare this to the previous generation.Positive pointsCost is low and they are reasonably easy to set up. Works well and has good picture quality in day light. Reasonable zoom quality. Camera is a fish eye style with good viewing width.Negative pointsZoom level isn’t good enough to read a number plate clearly of a car at 10 metres.WiFi range of cameras is limited if being mounted outside. I have moved my sync module to various locations and this has helped slightly. I’ve had some issues getting the cameras to work with the sync module.Cameras night vision quality isn’t that great.Mounts supplied in box are ok for internal use. I purchased these cameras for eternal use. As bink had advertised them as such. I’ve struggled to find a suitable and robust mount for what I wanted to use them for. Ultimately discarding the mounts I’ve seen on Think Assemble for them. The fixings of the mounts were definitely not suitable or strong enough to support the cameras in high winds. I’ve made do with what I have been supplied. However I had to mount these cameras where I can gain access to them easily. Which was not ideal. Mainly due to the fact that they may fall off. Time will tell.The power adapter for external use seems to be of reasonable quality. I have fitted a rubber cover to the camera for added protection. Unfortunately this cover was not a perfect fit and I had to make a small incision to make it work.SummeryTime will tell if these cameras last the Scottish winter and I have my doubts that they will. Although blink do say they are an outdoor camera I personally think they are more suited to indoor use. If blink wish to promote this as an external camera I would like to see them supply a good quality bracket to house and mount on walls and the eves of your home. It will do for now, however I do feel I’ve purchased the wrong product for the job.

Fantastic improvement over older version. Highly recommended. High resolution and night vision in colour.
