Amazing video quality
I already own a Birdfy bamboo feeder and standalone camera, so I was really excited about their new Feeder 2 Pro. The feeder itself is very nice, much more lightweight than the bamboo version, which makes it super easy to mount on a pole. The only issue I had was a squirrel getting to the feeder and chewing the seed guard, so definitely make sure to use a baffle. Birdfy kindly sent me a replacement seed guard, which I really appreciated.
Adding the camera is easy, it simply tightens onto the bottom of the feeder. The design is great, allowing plenty of light in, which makes the videos look amazing. The portrait camera follows the birds around for close-up shots. It doesn’t always track perfectly, sometimes it gets distracted by background movement, but it captures stunning footage.
The app is very user friendly. You can set notifications, play, download, and share videos. The AI isn’t essential, but I enjoy it. It’s fun to see what it identifies, though occasionally you’ll need to correct the labels.
The only reason I knocked off one star is due to recent technical issues that caused the camera to go offline and stop uploading. However, Birdfy’s customer support has been absolutely brilliant and sent me a replacement. I believe they’ll resolve these issues soon and once they do, this will definitely be a 5 star product.

First Impressions
Right out of the box, it looked solid. The plastic build feels pretty durable, and the design is nice, and does the job well. It’s a good size too, so you’re not constantly running back and forth to refill it daily.
Setting It Up
Hanging it up was super easy. I used a hook on a tree, and it is very stable. Filling it is no trouble either — the top/lid pops off easily and doesn’t spill everywhere like some feeders I’ve used before. Cleaning isn’t too bad either, which I appreciate, especially during wetter weeks.
Bird Traffic
It only took a day or two before the local birds caught on. Now I get regular visits from [robins,
sparrows — even the odd goldfinch]. I’ve seen up to 4 birds feeding at once, and they don’t seem to crowd each other too much, which is nice. The perches and feeding ports are spaced out well.
Food & Capacity
I’ve mostly been using [sunflower seeds/wild bird mix/peanuts], and it holds a fair amount, enough to last a few days even with lots of visitors. If you’re looking for something low-maintenance that doesn’t need topping up constantly, this is a win.

Honestly, I’m really happy with it. It’s reliable, bird-friendly, and doesn’t create loads of hassle. If you’re looking to bring more birdlife into your garden without spending ages on setup or cleaning, I’d recommend giving this a go!!

Upgraded Camera is a great improvement
I already own a Birdfy Bamboo Mini so was interested to see how the camera had been improved. The quality is much better and the second close up camera is really great. The Camera is now designed as a Birdfy camera rather than being a reuse of the security camera. The Feeder 2 is easy to setup and reload with feed. The solar panel does a perfect job of charging the battery. I think I prefer the looks of the Bamboo mini but the Feeder 2 is much easier to maintain. So glad I got a second Birdfy feeder.

Great Bird Feeder with 2 Cameras
This bird feeder is awesome! It was so easy to set up. The camera is so clear. The great thing about this, is that it has a 2nd camera which captures close-ups. It didn’t take long before the birds found it – just the next day! It’s captured loads of different birds and even a mother feeding her babies, which I’d never have seen without this bird feeder. I’d highly recommend this bird feeder with 2 cameras and well worth the money. 10/10!

New bird friends
The Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro Duo has allowed me to see birds in my garden I have never previously seen. After minimal set up (fully charge battery/install perch) I was attracting birds. Although there are multiple options to hang, with attachments for both posts and trees, I elected to secure to a fence using the provided fixing. A template for screw holes is even supplied to make hanging painless. The solar panel means that after the initial charge, the battery has stayed topped up, even in a fairly shaded area. The app has step-by-step instructions to connect the feeder and with little effort. The Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro Duo has two lenses – one which produces a wide view of the feeder, and a “close” lens which moves to focus on the bird at the feeder offering superb views. Feeder is easy to fill, but depending on the bird traffic, I am topping up every two-three days. The AI subscription is good, but not a necessity. It is mostly accurate, but occasionally gets it wrong.

Very Impressed!
Very impressed with this bird feeder. I thought it was a little expensive compared to the previous one I purchased, however the video quality is MILES better. The dual camera is decent as it gives you a close-up of the bird. And the quality means that you can pause it and take a screenshot of the video and it still looks good enough to be sent on socials.
Setup was easy, the solar panel is a little fiddly but fine, you get plenty of nuts/bolts and jubilee clips in the box which is great. instructions are clear and scanning the QR code with the app was easy (presumably because of the better camera than my old one). Bear in mind it uses 2.4hz WiFi so if you run a 5ghz only network you’ll have to do some tweaking. range is good though, it goes through a outer wall and one inner wall and seems fine.

Great way to watch garden birds
This is my second Birdfy product- I also own the bamboo feeder which i also recommend- I just wanted to try something new for a different area of the garden. The images from the camera are so clear and the addition of the tracking portrait lens is fantastic. The feeder is easy to set up and use. It comes with a selection of mounts so you can position on a wall, tree or a pole. The app is great to see other users within the Birdfy community and the vast amount of wildlife captured across the world.

I am very happy with this new camera bird feeder, I like the sleek look, it was so simple to assemble and attach to the fence, it was a bit fiddly when filling with seed as the hinged lid came off, simple to reattach so no problem, the solar panel is working perfectly and 100% charged since set up, the clarity of the images is fantastic, crystal clear, I already have a Birdfy Bamboo feeder and can’t wait for the birds to arrive and enjoy their new restaurant

Excellent product
The Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro is an excellent piece of kit. We bought my dad the original Birdfeeder at Christmas and it’s being visited regularly. I only install ours last week and so far there’s only been a couple of visits, but I’m sure it will become more popular as the birds find it. The 2 camera is a great idea and the quality of image is excellent. The app is also really easy to use and the AI is accurate most of the time.

I Just Love This!
This is my second feeder, I had the Birdfy bamboo feeder as a gift and love it. I decided to get an additional feeder, there are so many different feeders on the market you have to do your research. I chose this one and I am definitely not disappointed! There are so many birds coming to my garden and it is so interesting to watch them through the app on playback. The app is very user friendly and easy to set up, It has easy playback and you can save and share the photos they come in both video and still. You can even see other user photos from different countries if they have chosen put them to share, you definitely do not have to share though, that is just an option some people chose and it is just one off sharing not all or nothing.
The feeder is easy to fill and to clean and the food hasn’t got wet so far. The birds have no trouble landing on the feeder and the solar panel has kept the camera fully charged.
All in all I am really happy with my purchase.

A worthy upgrade to the single lens bamboo feeder
Another great Birdfy feeder! This is our second feeder (already have the bamboo mini) and love this design. The bamboo feeder required more maintenance (sealing the wood) and was hard to keep clean but this design is made from ABS and so will be much easier to look after. It’s also lighter than the bamboo mini making it easier to mount on a pole, which is really necessary so you can keep it out of reach of squirrels. The Feeder 2 pro only requires the perch clipping into place, the camera installing and mounting using the supplied jubilee clips (for both the feeder and the solar panel). The dual camera on this feeder is much better than the single camera versions giving really crisp images. The motion sensing is accurate and ours is positioned so it doubles as a security camera at night as it captures anyone walking past and turns the lights on at night. All in you can’t beat these feeders for the money and the app is really easy to use, it’s great being able ot view feeders from around the world and see all the different birds. Highly recommended!

Great camera
This is our second Birdfy as we already got the bamboo one for my mum for Christmas which she has had robins at everyday till recently then it switched to greattits. Pictures are brilliant on that. We’ve had a couple of teething issues but I think it was a wifi thing with this new one and unfortunately the birds don’t seem to have found it just yet. Hopefully they’ll find it soon but then I guess they also have lots of insects to feast on right now. But it’s super easy to install. Great modern design and good quality with 2 great quality cameras.

Almost Perfect
What a great product the Birdfy Cam 2 Pro is offering a close up view of birds as they use the feeder.
This is my second birdfy product and much is improved on this version compared to the original. Build and material quality, ease of set up and ease of use.
It will also be a lot easier to clean as it comes apart easily and there is only one thumb screw and it is better protected from the rain so should not rust.
Adding it to the Birdfy app was a doddle as all you have to do is scan the QR code on the back of the camera and it pretty much sets itself up bar entering the router wifi details. On that it appears to have a strong connection to my router even though it is in the furthest corner of the garden and has no external antenna.
A bonus with this version is that you do not have to buy a separate sd card as has built in memory.
Several of the niggles I had with the original version have been resolved, the main one being that the USB connector for the solar panel is now protected from the rain where as previously rain dripped off the external antenna straight on to the plug.
Another thing fixed is that this version is front filling so easier to access and you are able to see how full it is. Previously the lid hinged forward so you had to fill it from the back and if fitted close to a wall was a struggle to fill.
It is not all positive though.
One of the pros of the camera could be considered a con, the second inbuilt camera is motorised as moves left and right, I worry that that might fail and reduce the functionality of the unit.
Also, although the build quality is a lot higher the thumb clip to unlatch the roof to access the seed chamber does feel a little flimsy and I worry would become brittle with age/UV.
All in all though I am really pleased with this unit and look forward to watching all the birds and their chicks that come into my garden through the year.

I absolutely love my Birdfy that much I have 3 …. I have them for my birds and squirrels… it has introduced me to the nature in my garden, I love to see what birds I am able to feed and the squirrels just make me laugh there so cheeky!! The camera is fantastic and the AI that recognises the bird is great to help me know what is landing on the feeder!! I went for the rechargeable with the solar panel so I don’t miss out on anything and keep it topped up with wild bird and squirrel feed! There easy to fill even my children get involved and love to see the screenshots from the app! Would highly recommend to any bird lover!!

Impressive feeder+cameras marred by poor delivery
I bought this Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro to accompany my existing Birdfy Bamboo Feeder, I was initally worried as my older feeders are wooden and this is a plastic construction, but it has a nice solid metal bracket and the plastic feels very good quality and is a nice sleek design. The video/picture quality is great and an improvement on my older Bamboo feeders, the twin lens setup is really impressive, in that you get two video feeds, so that when a bird lands on the feeder you get a nice panoramic view and a more detailed zoomed focused view of the bird, which moves around tracking the birds position.
Overall, I’m really happy with the product, it was slightly let down by a hiccup with delivery, the first was seemingly lost in transit, before the courier even collected it, so I had a delayed delivery and multiply tracking numbers which didn’t work.

Birdfy Feeder 2 Pro Dual Lens
Thoroughly enjoying our new bird watching experience with the Birdfy Feeder 2! The dual lenses give you a panaromic view and a tracking close up – absolutely fantastic! The images are crystal clear and colours are great.
The feeder was straightforward enough to attach to the front of our house wall and the solar panel has a long enough cable to allow it to get direct sunlight all day long. Connection to our WiFi was a piece of cake. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Would recommend highly to anyone who wants to keep the birds in your garden well fed and enjoy some great pictures in the process!

Fantastic bird feeder
The Birdfy Feeder. 2 Pro is a fantastic bit of kit. Very well designed and easy to set up with the app. You may need to check a few places to find the optimum WiFi signal but we have tried a few places in the garden with few problems. The quality of the camera is very good and the solar charger ensures you have good battery life. Where the feeder excels is that it brings the bird life in your garden into your home. No more binoculars trying to see what the small birds are, a clear video and crisp photographs makes identification easy. The AI identification is good and this allow you pick which birds you want to view, as you can get many visits during a day many of the same bird, so being able to quickly select the ones you want to look at is a great feature. The feeder is very easy to clean which ensures bird health. Being able to share your bird videos and photos with friends and family means I now have new bird watchers in the family. Bird watching on a different level!

Brilliant Bird Feeder
This is my second Birdfy Feeder, and I must say, it’s my favourite one so far! The delivery from thinkassemble.co.uk was lightning fast (far less than their estimated delivery time) and installation was super easy.
The Birdfy feeder feels to be of excellent quality, using the same material as everyone’s favourite plastic toy bricks. The setup was done in no time thanks to the easy to follow instructions.
I installed this feeder over 3 weeks ago, the battery still remains at 100% thanks to the sleek solar panel that’s included.
The app is so simple to use, and comes with excellent features such as live views and sharing capabilities.
The new AI camera is very clever, having the ability to automatically track birds as they move around your feeder. There is also the option to change the view of the AI camera during live view by tapping the section of the screen you want to focus.
I highly recommend this Birdfy feeder for anyone wanting to have a high quality capture of the flying friends visiting their garden.
