Very nice phone especially for someone with sight problems, I got this for a neighbour with such a problem, the only slight negative is that the ring could do with being a bit loader
walnut –
God solid phone, not many features but the ringer was good and loud

I ordered this phone for use by a hard of hearing family member who also has sight and memory issues. The phone is quite lightweight, which although doesn’t feel as high quality as some devices, does make it easy to handle and move around. The main plus point for this phone is the huge buttons and the option to be able to allocate a telephone number and photo to each. However, I found it difficult to remove the stock photos. Also, its not a particularly easy feat to source photos of the correct size to replace them. I’m concerned that leaving the stock photos in place could lead to further confusion for some users. On the back of the phone there are options to change the ringer volume to either off, to low or high, the handset volume to medium, high or very high. We’ve set these to high and very high respectively which were suitable for our needs. The volume controls work well. You can also turn “one touch” mode (i.e. the move enabling you to set a telephone number to each button) on and “normal”. Normal mode enables you to type telephone numbers as normal. There’s also a bright red light that flashes when the phone is ringing, another useful feature for those who are hard of hearing. If you are able to source photos of the correct size and are able to replace them for the user, then this phone may well be for you. Given its reasonable price, I consider it to be good value for money.

it does what it claims
This phone has large buttons and loud ringer. It looks a bit cheaply made, so I am not sure how durable it will be, but it has all the functionality it claims. The buttons are big and easy to see, and the picture inserts are a good feature. The phone can be switched to only allow dialing pre-programmed numbers by directly pressing the buttons, or in a normal mode where you have to press the “memory” button first. The ringer is loud, even when not on the loudest setting. It is a perfect phone for seniors struggling with vision, hearing or memory.
