Poor design ???
I think that the cable is too thick and heavy for the blanket the blanket and controller are only rated at about 120 watts also the plug connector is on the the wrong side surely it should be on the back not the front

Ridiculously heavy thick power cable
I bought the navy, the blanket itself is quite thin, although it’s lovely and soft and a beautiful colour, it does not handle the internal wiring well, but the worst problem is the lead, I swear you could charge an electric car with it it’s so thick, it’s very cumbersome to move the blanket around with a huge very long thick power cable hanging off it, and with the blanket being quite thin and lightweight, it’s not a good match. I have bought these blankets before and they’ve been brilliant., much thicker with a normal size lead, I think this is the fourth one I’ve bought so naturally I’m quite disappointed.

Very good – does what it says on the tin!
As described. Thin material but then it’s heated so ok. Heats up fast – start with all four settings on then move down to number one is all you need. Only negative is the connector is quite stiff. May be a problem for the elderly or those with joint issues. Having said that once connected you could leave it in and use the wall plug. Overall a good buy.

Purchased this for elderly mother, she didn’t want anything too thick and heavy and couldn’t see the controls on many of them available online. This totally fitted her wishes. It really is super soft, well made and just the right thickness. The control panel is simple to use and see as it illuminates in red lights. Simple heat settings of 1 to 4 lights with each press of the small panel fitted into the throw. It has a seperate on/off switch on the lead which does not interfere with weighting down the throw on one side. Heats up really quickly and does put out a good level of heat. She is really happy with it. Really pleased with the purchase and also came with the usual thinkassemble.co.uk price value compared to others online.

Not particularly warm and poor customer service
I was disappointed with the throw, as it very thin and doesn’t provide much heat. I was even more disappointed with thinkassemble.co.uk service though. No online returns, so you have to call. Two and a half hours on hold just to arrange the return. Be careful buying online.

The throw is beautiful, warms up quickly and is snuggly, I would recommend to anyone if they didn’t want to have to put the house heating on. This will keep you warm

Absolutely fantastic. We have bought 6 in total. Warms up really well and it’s very soft. There are mix reviews – one saying about the plug and wires – but you need all that to warm it up surely. TBH when we have gone into thinkassemble.co.uk’s within days they’re all sold out so that says it all. All colours are lovely but the grey and beige look stunning. Highly highly recommended- when this goes on sale —— buy it !

Lovely cuddly blanket but wires etc too heavy
Chose this item for cost and looks. It’s cuddly and soft and works well. The only negative thing about it is the amount of heavy wiring etc. It makes the blanket difficult to use.
