This usb hub works perfectly and it’s exactly what i needed for my gaming room setup it has a good length cable it works great with a usb extension cable to make it a lot longer and its quite small and compact to fit almost anywhere it has a switch which will turn it on and off and one port lights up blue for some reason and the rest don’t it has 7 ports and works well for led strips or lighting etc BUT it can not be used for charging in any way I’ve tried using it with a QI charger and charging cable for iPhone and it will supply power but will not charge your device at all which it does state online that its not for that but i thought i would try out of interest overall i like it a lot and i even brought a second one and will possibly be buying more if needed i highly recommend it

Good product but does sometimes turn it’s self off and back on again and has created a “Copy” of each USB item – not sure if it’s my PC thats the problem?

Brilliant USB adapter. Have two USB port in the back of my Desktop, we are a training company so i am constantly using USB stick as evidence and file come in. I was sick to death of stretching over the top of the PC to put them in and out.This extension is long enough to come under the PC and so many (SO many) port. My life is so much easier at work (I have to admit I was getting really annoyed and snappy without it)

This item arrived promptly and was packaged in blister type packaging offering good protection.We have a couple of laptops in our household and was hoping this would handy for expanding the number of USB ports on my device and converts one port into seven. It is fairly decent quality. I have a few issues with this item however;Firstly, It is the outdated USB2 type which although not obsolete yet are getting there, and are simply too slow for my requirements.The device has a power switch and mains adaptor port, however a mains adaptor is not provided. As there is no external power adapter it struggled to cope with my keyboard, mouse and webcam that I plugged in. The mouse was particularly ‘laggy’. This was disappointing.So based on this I cannot fully recommend this device unless it is powered.One advantage I did find was that I could use it to charge my phone and tablet efficiently so as an adapter for that it is useful.

This seemed to work when I first used the device. for about a week.The device has seven ports which should be more than I need. However, I intended to use this device to aid with me transferring data via a USB. I have plugged a keyboard and a mouse into this unit and it keeps loosing its connection from my device. so transferring on my second USB port is possible but using a keyboard and a mouse in intermittent.This was purchased to allow me the ability not to have to disconnect a mouse or a keyboard when using a USB. However, now it slows me down as it connects and disconnects the devices. It seems irrelevant whether I have only one device in USB extension device.

This works perfectly for using my Avid Media Composer Dongle, ILok Dongle and Blackmagic Da Vinci Resolve Dongle. As well as the Apple Mac Keyboard and Focusrite usb 2i2 audio interface and Midi Keyboard. Connected into my Mac Pro 6.1 Late 2013 USB 3 connection. It has good cable length as well and sturdy feeling.
