An excellent bit of kit as you’d expect from Apple. Looks great and robustly built. The battery life is decent: I charge mine every second evening and wear it when I sleep to give me readings on my vitals. I use it to start and stop workouts, timer and stopwatch functions are used regularly and the modular face I use is customised perfectly for my own usage. It’s a fantastic, very functional device and although quite expensive, I think it’s worth every penny.

If you feel the bezel edge of the watch it is quite sharp at the corner. You can’t feel it being sharp whilst wearing or using it. Other that that its a great watch, this is my first ultra after a few other Apple Watches. The battery loses about 25% a day so much better and it’s not as big and bulky as I thought it would be.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is my first Apple Watch, and it has already helped me reduce my screen time since most of my important notifications now come straight to my wrist. It’s truly a health-focused device and delivers impressively accurate results. It also looks great on my hand, especially with the Milanese Loop band. I can even control my car through the watch, and Apple Pay works flawlessly. With cellular connectivity, it really cuts down on how often I need to reach for my phone.Overall, it’s a solid, durable, feature-packed, and professional watch. I probably won’t use every feature it offers—and that’s okay. I bought it simply because I wanted it, and I genuinely like it!

Was always worried about battery life with Apple Watches. 1 day doesn’t cut it for me. I’ve had Huawei and Garmin fitness watches which can last literally weeks on a charge. This can’t, but has exceeded my expectations. Quality as you’d expect from Apple, but 38hrs since last charge, I still have 61% battery life. That includes 2 long walks using gps. I expect to get close to 4 days from a charge. That is with all functions on but raise to wake screen. Very impressed.

Excellent watch, strap choice and quality not as good as post market straps

I’m really impressed with the quality and durability of this watch. The 48-hour battery life is incredible, and the large screen (coming from an AW 5) is a huge improvement. However, there’s one drawback to be aware of, if you buy the black titanium model with the black titanium strap, be careful. The coating on the titanium strap is slightly harder than the display surface, so if you accidentally touch or scratch the screen with the strap, you may end up with fine scratches that are visible under certain angles and very hard to remove.

I was honestly pretty hesitant to upgrade from my Garmin Fenix because I didn’t think an Apple Watch could actually handle serious training blocks, but the Ultra 3 has won me over. For competitive contexts, the “Precision Start” feature is a total game changer. On older watches, you’d get that annoying 3-2-1 countdown, but now I map the Action Button to start immediately. When the starting gun goes off, I just hit the button and tracking is instant. The dual-frequency GPS is also scary accurate—my track workouts actually match the lane markers now.Battery life was my biggest worry, but I did a 70.3 triathlon last weekend with full GPS and heart rate running, and I still had about 45% battery at the finish line. It easily handles long brick workouts without needing a charge. I also play rugby in the off-season and do a lot of trail running, so durability matters. I’ve already smacked the screen against a doorframe and took a tumble on gravel, and there isn’t a scratch on the titanium. The new recovery metrics and training load data are actually useful for avoiding injury before big meets. Honestly, if you’re just closing rings, save the money and get a Series 10. But if you care about splits, zone training, and race-day reliability, this is the one.
