I’ve been using the Apple Watch SE 2nd Gen for a few weeks now, and it’s quickly become an essential part of my daily routine. First impressions count, and the starlight aluminium case looks gorgeous, subtle, modern, and goes with everything from gym gear to office wear. The 40mm size is perfect for my wrist; it’s noticeable without feeling bulky or cumbersome.Performance-wise, it’s impressive. Notifications are seamless, fitness tracking is accurate, and the heart rate monitoring gives me real-time feedback that actually helps me adjust my workouts. I particularly love the sleep tracking; it’s surprisingly insightful and has nudged me to rethink some of my evening habits. Battery life is solid, I get a full day and some extra before needing a charge, which for an Apple Watch is very respectable. The integration with my iPhone is, as expected, flawless. Swiping through apps, responding to messages, controlling music, or even checking weather updates feels smooth and intuitive. Siri works better than I expected on this model, though I still treat it more like a convenience than a necessity. One tiny caveat is that it can feel a bit expensive for what it is compared to other smartwatches, and if you don’t already live in the Apple ecosystem, it’s less useful. But for me, the combination of style, functionality, and seamless connectivity makes it worth every penny. It’s not just a watch; it’s a little personal assistant on your wrist that keeps me on top of health, notifications, and even small lifestyle improvements.

Such an AMAZING watch. I could list so many different reasons why I like it. Compared to other fitness trackers this is the most accurate one I’ve used also it can last at least a day when I’m doing workouts and using it for calls via built in notifications on the watch . The strap that comes with it fits perfectly and will do for years to come it was £150 and I would definitely recommend it, amazing value for money .It can connect to my phone 20 meters away so helpful when doing workouts. I am very good at losing my phone and the find my phone feature is just the thing to help me find it.

When I had my first smart watch it was a Sony / android one and there were not many apps and it didn’t do much but the Apple Watch is a game changer. I can have my password safe on my watch, send and reply to text messages and even Facebook messages, I can see the moon phases, monitor my health, take voice recordings : notes and instantly it will beam them to my phone, I can play games, get reminders to drink water, reminders to stand up, you can have a virtual pet, I have my reward cards so I can scan them at the checkout from my watch. Map my workouts, track them, play music, I can control my web browser with iCabMobile, remote control tunein radio. Tell the weather with the barometer app, I can identity music playing using Shazam, keep track of my medicine, have notes and todo lists and it’ll all sync with my phone when I’m done and best of all my password safe and my watch is password protected. I don’t remember my passwords for my online accounts so to be able to display them on my watch after entering the passcode is brilliant and saves time and effort, with Apple or YouTube music it’s easy to listen to music even on the go and the sound is loud enough and the audio quality is amazing. It will monitor heart rate, sleep and the watch face selection is amazing, you can even get snoopy and there are apps with many face plates to choose from. Having Siri is helpful and it has crash and fall detection and at the press of a button you can send your location to your contacts in case you need to let them know where you are. It has hand writing recognition for reply to messages. It’s a real game changer and I love it. I got a necklace attachment so I can wear it around my neck when I’m out so it won’t get lost. I ordered the 220mm sports band which is good enough for what I need. It also can detect when your washing your hands and set a 20 second timer so you know your washed your hands long enough if that matters to you, I don’t use that feature. It was so easy to set up, I brought it close to my phone and it linked to my phone and setup with ease and the data is very accurate. I would have liked the extra health features like spo2 and ecg but I couldn’t justify the cost for features that I will barely use. The screen is very clear and it’s very comfortable and if you hold your wrist up to look at the time, the screen comes on and shows the time, when you move it away it turns the display back off (it’s not got always on)It has timers, reminders, countdown timers and you can add WhatsApp to it if that’s your thing. I got a screen protector for mine so it doesn’t get scratched during workouts and if it gets knocked it should keep the screen safe. It’s easy to charge also with the included charger. I’ve not found any negatives so far other than the fact I can’t communicate with Google home through it (Google didn’t make a watch app for it)The walkie talkie feature is handy if you have a friend or family member with an Apple Watch. It’s very snappy at loading apps. I love it 🥰

This is a great smart watch. Lots of functionality and looks good. Only issue is with battery life was it seems to run down pretty quickly. I am very active and measuring activity using GPS exacerbates the problem. I then need to put the watch on charge a couple of times a day. This is annoying especially if the battery goes flat and recording stops. I’d say a great everyday smart watch but if you are seriously active I’d suggest a newer model with increased battery life or a dedicated sports watch.

After dealing with a faulty, cheap smartwatch for months, I had no choice but to purchase the Apple Watch SE, and this does not disappoint. It’s good for tracking fitness, quite comfortable on the wrist, the screen refresh rate feels smooth to navigate, and it accurately monitors my heart rate, steps, distance, and calories. Only small gripe I have is the battery life feels too short, meaning there’s not enough battery life to monitor my sleeping. Overall, I recommend this watch for users that are on a budget.

First impressions, Seamless integration with the iPhone 13, just put the two items together and the iPhone will pick it up instantly, battery life for me is one and a half days (with always on display switched off), I am disappointed with the watch faces available on the Apple Watch app, I prefer a utilitarian watch face where I can see the “complications” without using a magnifying glass, however, the overall quality of this watch is excellent, as you would expect from Apple this watch was very easy to set up and it is a breeze to use I’m just hoping i can find a suitable easy to read watch face.
