This is a great addition to any iPad in my opinion. I use this with various note taking apps and it’s so intuitive and easy to use, fast charging, and such good build quality. It is very expensive but then Apple products often are higher price than usual. I think it is fair value for money though. It connects extremely easily and is so easy to hold and use with a nice grip and texture. I’m surprised at how durable and scratch resistant it is too. The magnet strength is awesome and it clings to the iPad really well (I’m using an Air M2 2024 iPad).My only criticism would be that I feel at this price it should come with a couple of spare tips, which it doesn’t come with. That’s a let down. But otherwise I’m quite happy with it.

Okay so after I gave this a one star I figured out what I was doing wrong… So bought a new iPad air with the pencil and it states to put the pencil on the magnetic side of your iPad to pair… Now on doing this it did not work what so ever… Tried turning the iPad off… Bluetooth on and off and nothing…What I did not realize was if you connect the pencil to the iPad via charging cable it pairs up straight away… So it could be that the negative reviews did not try this…Make sure the pencil and iPad are both fully charged on doing this…So remember one Cable end in the pencil and the other end in iPad and presto it connects like a dream and works perfectly… Once paired just take the Cable out and your good to go…

It’s a well polished, responsive and highly accurate stylus with great features that you won’t get with any third party pencil. A few things to consider that aren’t really mentioned in any reviews. It’s main intended use is that of a pencil so that part works great but you won’t be able to navigate all menus the same way that you would with your finger. As an example, swiping up from the bottom to take you to the main menu doesn’t work. All in all it’s a great device, haptics feel like actual button presses, the battery lasts a good 5 hours with constant use and charges in 20~ minutes. Comfortable to hold and super easy to use.

I love this pen! It’s super smooth and works perfectly with my iPad. Writing and drawing feel really natural, and it’s super accurate. It connects instantly and makes everything so much easier – especially taking notes or sketching. Totally worth it!

Adiós a las copias de AliExpress: Por 45€ (Estado Excelente) esto es otro mundo
Llevaba tiempo usando lápices genéricos de AliExpress (de los de 15-20€) pensando que “eran lo mismo”, pero me equivocaba. Al ver este Apple Pencil (USB-C) original en thinkassemble.co.uk Segunda Mano por 45€ (en lugar de los 79€ que cuesta nuevo), decidí probar. La diferencia ha sido abismal.Estado del producto (“Excelente”): Me llegó en una caja reacondicionada, pero el lápiz estaba impoluto. Literalmente nuevo. Ni un rasguño en el cuerpo mate ni desgaste en la punta. Por 45€, parece que lo he estrenado yo.Diferencias reales con la copia “China”: Si dudas entre una copia barata y este original usado, lee esto:Conexión y Estabilidad: El de AliExpress a veces se desconectaba o tenía un ligero retardo (lag). Este Apple Pencil es inmediato. Escribir se siente como usar boli y papel, cero retraso.La Punta: La punta original tiene un tacto “gomoso” suave que agarra mejor en el cristal. Las copias suelen ser de plástico duro que resbala y hace ruido de “clic-clic” molesto al tocar la pantalla.Inclinación perfecta: Al sombrear dibujando, este detecta la inclinación milimétricamente. Las copias suelen fallar o hacer trazos extraños.Carga USB-C: Súper cómodo poder cargarlo con el mismo cable del iPad o Mac. La tapita deslizante es un detalle de calidad de construcción que las copias no tienen.Lo que debes saber (Modelo USB-C): Ojo, este modelo es el USB-C. No tiene sensibilidad a la presión (si aprietas más, no pinta más gordo), pero sí a la inclinación. Para tomar apuntes, estudiar y editar vídeo es perfecto y mucho más barato que el modelo Pro. Además, se pega magnéticamente al iPad para transportarlo (aunque se carga por cable), y el imán es mucho más fuerte que el de las copias, que se caen con mirarlas.Conclusión: Me he ahorrado 34€ respecto al nuevo y tengo un producto original 100% funcional. Si vienes de usar lápices baratos, hazte el favor y pásate a este por 45€. La calidad de construcción y la fluidez valen cada euro.

Cheapest Apple Pencil but doesn’t feel like it. Connects very easily just plug in with the USB-C cable. Doesn’t have the extra magnetic charging on the side of the iPad but charging is easy enough and the pencil charges very quickly, battery doesn’t last that long but when it charges so quickly doesn’t really matter. Feels very high quality, the matte finish makes it feel premium and nice to hold. It’s not too light but not too heavy, ideal weight. If you plan on just doing art and drawing probably wouldn’t recommend due to the lack of pressure sensitivity but if you don’t plan to do a lot of drawing, just basic sketching or mostly note taking you’ll be completely fine. Although make sure you don’t drop it as the tip on the end is quite delicate and if you drop it and it lands on the tip it will most likely be squished and you’ll have to buy a new pack of tips (£19 for 4). All in all a very good pencil and perfect for me.

It’s very well made and works well. My only criticism is that the battery self-discharges quite quickly when it is unused. Perhaps 20% per week.However, it does charge up again very quickly when connected to my iPad(less so when connected to a general USB charger).

Arrived as expected. Does what it says. Quality as used from Apple. Works well with iPad Pro 11.
