From my personal experience the iPhone 17 Pro has been an amazing phone to use day to day. The Screen display looks fantastic and at 120Hz ProMotion, this makes everything feel incredibly smooth. Scrolling through apps browsing the web and watching videos all feel effortless. It feels fast the moment you start using it. The screen quality is one of the first things you notice.The performance has been excellent in real world use. Apps open instantly and switching between them is seamless. I regularly multitask and have not noticed any lag at all. The A19 Pro chip makes everything feel responsive and stable. It handles everyday use with ease.The 256GB storage has been perfect for my needs. I have installed plenty of apps and stored lots of photos and videos without worrying about space. It makes using the phone feel stress free. I do not need to constantly manage or delete files. This is ideal for long term use.Build quality really stands out when you hold it. The phone feels solid premium and well balanced in the hand. The buttons feel firm and responsive and the overall finish looks very high end. It feels like a properly built flagship device. The size also feels just right.Battery life has been very reliable in my experience. It comfortably lasts me a full day with normal use. Even with screen time and background apps it holds up well. Charging is quick and convenient when needed. It fits well into my daily routine.The phone has held up very well in terms of condition. I have not noticed any scratches on the screen or body with normal everyday use. It still looks clean and new and the finish has stayed in great shape so far.The weight of the phone feels well balanced. It has a solid premium feel without being too heavy or uncomfortable to hold for long periods. Using it one handed or for longer sessions does not feel tiring. The price could be better at £1000 like last year but you get double the storage which makes up for it.

Incredible device! I ordered the 17 base first based on the review recommendations from experts but realized fast that’s not enough when you come from a Pro device. So I returned the 17 base and purchased the 17 Pro. Oh boy, this one really knocks the socks off. Battery, camera and overall performance is superb, including premium built and look. 5/5!

The phone is incredibly fast compared to my previous iPhone 14 Pro (had to upgrade as my battery’s maximum capacity had fallen to 76% 😭), however I do miss the titanium body, kinda feels like a downgrade by using aluminium, but I understand why they’ve done it – heat dissipation and environmental/sustainable reasons too. But if like me you keep your phone in a case, you won’t even notice! The camera quality is awesome and I haven’t even used it to its full potential yet, but I’m impressed! The battery life has also impressed me, however it still needs to be charged once a day (can’t wait for the day where we can have a battery that will only need charging once every few days). As an iPhone user since the iPhone 8, & an Apple lover since the Apple iPod Classic, they really are getting better and better!!!

The battery life is fantastic — it easily lasts me through a full day of heavy use. It did take a couple of days for the battery to settle, but once I updated to iOS 26.1, it seemed to optimise much faster.The camera quality is absolutely outstanding. Photos are crisp, colours are accurate, and low-light performance is better than any iPhone I’ve owned. The zoom range is phenomenal — incredibly sharp and surprisingly stable even at higher zoom levels. It feels like carrying a compact professional camera in my pocket.I also really appreciate the new camera plateau design. Compared to previous models, it’s a refreshing visual change and makes the phone look cleaner and more balanced on the back.On the design front, after years of sticking to black and space grey iPhones, I decided to go for the new Cosmic Orange. I’m glad I did — it looks amazing. The colour shifts subtly depending on the lighting, and paired with a black case, it becomes a really striking and premium-looking combination.Overall, this is one of the best iPhones Apple has released in years — powerful, beautiful, and incredible for photography. On the outside, the redesign finally breaks away from the minor tweaks we’ve seen for years – it’s cleaner, slightly more practical, and undeniably “Pro.” The revamped chassis and vapor chamber cooling do help with heat dissipation, though it’s not a complete fix; under heavy gaming, there’s still noticeable GPU throttling. Performance, however, is as strong as ever – smooth, responsive, and fast in every sense. iOS 26 brings a sleeker look but still lacks real intuitiveness. Charging is faster with Apple’s new standard, though you can’t shake the feeling this should’ve happened a generation or two ago. The display is less reflective (a nice touch outdoors) but oddly inconsistent in brightness. The new telephoto camera sounds great on paper yet doesn’t feel like a game-changer in practice. In short, the iPhone 17 Pro remains a polished, capable, and luxurious phone – but it doesn’t quite deliver the leap forward its premium price suggests
