If noise cancellation is important, buy them
I bought these to move on from 3rd Generation, and I do love them but I also still love my old ones. I gave top marks as I can’t fault them, I’m just still getting used to using them. The noise cancellation is impressive and I’d recommend spending the money to get it if you would benefit from reducing a noisy environment around you and a warning, you probably won’t hear the front door knock! I like watching programmes on my mobile and listening to music and the sound quality is really good for both.
For me, the reason I’m mixed on my view is that whilst I love noise cancelling, I’m still getting used to the way it affects me, I both love and hate the effect, as it can be important to still hear what’s around you, so that’s a personal choice.
