Great quality dog toy, our Sighthounds love playing with this. Ears are a little chewed, but main toy still going strong, even the squeak has survived intact. This toy takes a hammering from our youngest greyhound, who enjoys playing with Sammy Squirrel when in her kitchen dog basket, can hear the squeaking from upstairs.

Like many hounds, they love to chase squirrels when they come into the garden. Although he is super quick, he never catches one so for his Christmas toy we bought him this furry figure. It’s very realistic and very well made.We thought it would last the usual 5 minutes before he pulled all the stuffing out but after shaking it and chewing it, it’s still intact and largely unharmed three weeks later.He appears to like it and goes back often to play with it. A nice buy for doggie.

I bought two of these for the dog (the rabbit and the squirrel). Both are nicely stuffed in the head and body, with the squeaky thing in the stomach area. I thought they were finished to a high standard, look and feel good and could easily pass as a soft toy for a child, or as a collectable.Like (nearly) all soft dog toys I’ve bought, these are the usual balance of softness and durability. In my experience, a determined dog (big or small), will tear pretty much any soft toy to shreds in minutes, if it’s so inclined. Luckily, our pooch tends to chew on them quite gently and throw them around rather than sit there and just rip them to bits, so, as hoped, these are standing up pretty well, with all the seams fully in tact, more than one month on, after pretty much daily doggy attention (along with the usual games of tug and “go fetch”……though it’s often me who ends up doing the fetching!Also both have survived two goes in the washing machine.Can’t ask for much more than that.Recommended.

The squirrel is a great size. Has a marvellous tail. And he’s tough, He’s been well chewed and is still intact. Bob carries him around in his mouth and sleeps with him. Highly recommend.

I brought Sammy Squirrel approximately 2 months ago for my Jack Russell. Most toys have a life span of 5 minutes before he’s ripping them up and chucking them in the air happily.This one however is mostly intact minus a few holes with a squeaker that still works perfectly. He has ripped all four paws off, a hole in the squirrel’s head and its ear.The squirrel is durable, moreso then most fluffy toys. The squeaker is located very low down in its stomach in the most densely packed fluff area, which is the reason it is surviving so well.It’s honestly one of the best toys I’ve brought on thinkassemble.co.uk as it’s so well made. It is very much loved.

Great fun for our Jack Russel. Tries her hardest to catch a real one over the woods, now the chase is easier. Very well made of quality products will be lasting along time l would think.
