Item received in good condition in a very well packaged box. A fortnight in, and the T-Rex 3 Pro already seems part of me. The 48 mm sapphire AMOLED display pumps out around 3,000 nits, so even when I am plodding along a sun-drenched promenade I can glance down and see my pace and heart rate without screwing up my eyes. The titanium bezel, metal buttons and 10 ATM rating have laughed off salt spray, an unexpected plunge while fishing the twins’ bucket out of the shallows, and one solid thump against a gatepost.The dual-band GPS finds its bearings before the soles of my trainers touch the pavement, then keeps a rock-steady breadcrumb trail through the tangled lanes behind the house. Offline maps let the phone live in the rucksack. Battery life borders on ridiculous, still reading 40 percent after a week of daily runs, the school-run stomp, and a couple of Bluetooth calls.The built-in torch saves my toes from the dog’s toy collection at night, and contactless payment works first tap, every time. Tough, dependable, long-lasting and smart enough to sit under a shirt cuff as well as a running vest, it is cracking value for money.

Great upgrade from my Trex 3, feels nice and looks lovely. Not heavy at all. Functionality is easy to use better tracking than previous model. Inbuilt torch and mix and speaker . Love the sports modes I prefer this to my wife’s Garmin

I have narrow wrists, so when the parcel turned up and I saw the bulk of the T-Rex 3 Pro I expected bruises within the hour. Strangely, it settles against the skin like a much slimmer watch and the strap never pinches, even when sweat and grit build up on a long walk.The sapphire AMOLED screen is a bit of a show-off. At 3,000 nits it stays readable even when Northumberland decides to dish out rare sunshine. Glare simply bounces off.Construction feels bomb-proof. The titanium bezel has already survived a scrape against a dry-stone wall without a mark, and the 10 ATM rating handled an accidental plunge into a tarn. The built-in torch came to the rescue during a half-awake trip to the loo at 2 a.m., sparing both my toes and the tent zip.Navigation is equally solid. Dual-band GPS finds a lock in seconds, and the offline maps kept me on the right ridge when my phone gave up. I am never going to use all 180 sport modes, yet the handful I have tried log data accurately enough for my slightly obsessive spreadsheets.Battery life is the headline act. After a fortnight of daily tracking, three lengthy hikes, and a handful of calls, the charge meter still showed double figures. Contactless payments work without fuss, so the phone often stays at home, and incoming calls can be dealt with while my hands are muddy.In short, rugged build, sensible features and a battery that laughs at the competition turn the T-Rex 3 Pro into excellent value for anyone who spends more time outside than at a desk.

Top end smart watch – crammed with featuresAfter a month or so of use I’m blown away by how sturdy and robust this watch is. The design is really nice and although it is a bit chunkier than the likes of an Apple Watch, it feels very comfortable and still has a nice fit.The battery life is beyond impressive, compared to other smart watches that need charged every day or two, this one lasts over a week from a single charge. It’s great because I can monitor my sleep with this wheras my last smart watch needed charged every night and that stopped me recording sleep patterns.The screen is amazing for the size of it, when on the watch display it looks like a real watch and it’s hard to tell otherwise, but a quick touch and you have access to a whole array of apps and features, also because of the crystal sapphire display, the screen is built to last and despite banging it off a few surfaces, I’ve yet to see a scratch.Functionality is another selling point, the GPS info, combined with maps, combined with pulse and pedometer gives an a level of detail regarding your days out and workouts that traditional smart watches just can’t provide.Overall a very impressive smart watch and well worth the £400 price point.

The Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro is a truly impressive smart watch. It has a 48mm Sapphire AMOLED Display. The Sapphire Crystal display is practically scratch proof and the AMOLED has a truly impressive depth of colour.The body is rugged designed and has a solid feel, the strap is ultra comfortable and as someone with sensitive skin that usually gets sweat rashes, this strap seems to have completely eliminated that problem. I do give it a wash about once a week.The battery life is amazing, my Apple watch needs charged every day, but this needs charged so infrequently that charging is no longer a daily or even weekly concern.There are some really cool tools that I haven’t seen elsewhere like the built in flashlight and the offline maps.Overall it’s a really impressive piece of kit and at the price point, it’s fair value too. Looking at Garmins similar products they are almost double the price.

The watch is incredible and definitely recommend to everyone. The one thing that I have is that the advertise is saying that the battery will last for about 24 days. I charge the watch every 15-16 days … so is not quite how it says in the advertisement. The watch face that I use is one of the least power consumption face that I found in the phone app Zepp.
