I wanted a smart watch with colourful, easy to read screens and certain functionality to replace an ageing monochrome Fitbit. The Amazfit 3 GTR Pro ticks all the boxes plus more that I find useful. Being elderly, however, I shall not be testing most of the fitness programmes apart from walking.The screen is large and easy to read. There is an abundance of watch faces to choose from, 4 preinstalled and more free of charge from the app store including some that are animated or can be customised. They are all attractive and with the brightness turned up can be read without problem in bright sunlight. My favourite watch face is animated which reduces the battery life even though it is not set to always on, but I still get 5 to 6 days before recharging, which takes up to 2 hours.Alexa works well as long as the watch is not too far from my Samsung android smart phone. I have figured out how to receive gmail messages on the watch and they are easily legible. Notifications arrive promptly from Google Calendar and I like the countdown and counter apps.On the negative side for some users perhaps, I can’t get the wallet to work but this doesn’t matter to me as I have it on the mobile; it doesn’t count the stairs even though they are listed under Activity and there is no wi-fi. In some respects, it seems that the watch and mobile app don’t mirror each other.Despite those negatives, I am delighted with the purchase. It is a high quality product at a good price.

I have been on the market for a smartwatch for a while.I chose the gtr3 Pro as it is stylish and when I bought it the price was quality/price good.On amazon there are thousands of smartwatch, however this review is not been sponsored by any seller offering a free product for a 5 star review and a short video.The watch came on time, it is to use and the zepp app is really intuitive to use.Battery life I doubt that it is of 12 days as advertised. It came on the 5th and from fully charged after 5 days of regular usage (no sport tracking) is at the 48%.App notifications is what I like as you can choose to show notifications of all your app fron the phone, from your bank to the cctv, and etc.Bluetooth call work fine despite the caller audio is low and if you are in a noise environment you barely hear the caller.When the watch is far from the phone is quickly to re connect and I didn’t have had any issues as yet.What I didn’t like is alexa assistant that it is pretty much useless, you can only set alarm or ask the weather.The voice is metal at the beginning I thought it was an issue with the watch but I don’t have any problem with listening music and or taking calls from it.Alexa doesn’t allow you to make phone calls and or to read text.I appreciate and I would like thinking that it might be a feature to avoid distractions when you are driving, however it should be set at least to allow you to call emergency services. Two days ago I need to call the 999 and I cannot use my hand, my phone was in the back pocket and I couldn’t either use Google voice.

Found it a bit confusing to set up bluetooth,but due to the vast amount of info the watch can show,understandable The Zepp app again abit confusing but once you get your head round it its fine.The ability to rcv and answer phone calls is brilliant,sound is loud and clear,you can set what notifications you wish to rcv in the Zepp app.all the usual fitness apps are there also.All in all great watch,plus has Alexa built in,which works a treat,lots of watchfaces to dload ,some free.Good purchase

I decided to get a fitness tracker as I wanted a more accurate record of steps and as I am having trouble with sleep, I wanted a tracker that monitored this. After a fair bit of research and reading reviews I opted for the Amazfit GTR 3 Pro. The watch looks great, accurately records my steps, shows my texts and emails etc. however, the sleep tracking is sadly lacking. When I feel as though I have actually had a good night sleep the tracker shows a really low score and when I feel like I’ve had an awful night, the tracker records a really high score. I woke up last night due to a noise outside so I got out of bed to look out the window and the tracker hasn’t even recorded the fact that I was awake and out of bed!! My husband and son both have fitness trackers which seem a lot more accurate than this, my husbands cost a fraction of the price of this, theirs at least show broken sleep. I had hoped I could use this to illustrate to my GP how bad my sleep is however, it just looks like I flit from light to deep sleep throughout the night and have a full night sleep. Wish I had saved some money and got a cheaper one. The battery used to last a good 7-10 day but now, the watch is less than a year old and I’m lucky to get 3 or 4, no longer alerts that battery is low and randomly switches off during the night. As someone else says, the screen has stopped coming on when you turn your wrist so need to press the button to see the time, often as easy lifting my phone!
