Old Peculier –
I needed a couple of these to help with the ventilation of a pair of old Macintosh G4s that I needed to rebuild to keep them going to access older Data that was Mac OS 9 Specific. These PCI Vent Fans were all the rage in their day, but are less easy to find these days. Nothing special, but they did the job, and suck out, and exhaust, a useful flow of air from within the case in the vicinity of the PCI Slots. Older machines ran hot so, the greater the air flow you can encourage, the better.

Works fine just one speed and noisy. I’m not sure if it’s safe to use because very cheap made and no CE mark. Just left sitting on my shelf.

Tut was er soll – zum Mini Preis!
Das Minikühler / PCI Steckplatz Lüfter System wird bei uns zur Kühlung eines Areca 1880 ix 16 Raid Controller eingesetzt der ohne extra Kühlung auf 90°C läuft (Die Passiv Kühlung von Areca ist ziemlicher Müll). Jetzt hat der Controller eine Temperatur von 57° – Top! Eine Einbindung in die Wasserkühlung des Servers wäre viel teurer gewesen.
