Product Description
Product Overview
Ensure the health and stability of your computer system with the Haosie PC Power Supply Tester, a must-have diagnostic tool for PC builders, technicians, and hardware enthusiasts. Designed to provide instant, high-precision readings, this power detector eliminates the guesswork when troubleshooting “no-power” or unstable system issues. Featuring a clear, backlit LCD display, it provides real-time voltage monitoring (+/-0.01V) for all critical rails, including +3.3V, +5V, and +12V, alongside essential PG (Power Good) values. Whether you are verifying a brand-new build or diagnosing a failing unit, this portable and intuitive tester supports a wide array of form factors including ATX, BTX, ITX, and TFX. With its automatic fault alarm system, the device will immediately alert you via a buzzer and flashing values if any parameter falls outside the normal range, preventing potential damage to expensive motherboards and components. Compact, reliable, and easy to use, the Haosie Power Supply Tester is your first line of defense against hardware failure.
Key Features
- Universal Compatibility: Seamlessly works with ATX, BTX, ITX, and TFX power supplies, supporting 20-pin and 24-pin connectors.
- LCD Digital Display: Provides crystal-clear, real-time numeric readouts for all output voltages and PG values for fast and accurate performance checks.
- Smart Fault Alarm: Built-in buzzer and flashing display indicators automatically trigger when voltage levels are too high, too low, or if the PG signal fails.
- Comprehensive Interface Testing: Equipped with dedicated ports to test Floppy, HDD, CD-ROM (Molex), SATA, 4-pin (P4), 8-pin (Dual-CPU), and 6-pin (PCI-Express) connectors.
- High-Precision Monitoring: Delivers accurate voltage detection (+/-0.01V) for +12V, -12V, +5V, -5V, +3.3V, and 5V Standby (SB) rails.
- Ultra-Portable Design: Lightweight (99g) and compact construction makes it an essential addition to any field technician’s toolkit or home repair bench.
Important Information
- No Load Simulation: This device is designed to test voltage and PG signals; it does not simulate a full electrical load on the power supply.
- LCD Activation: The LCD screen and voltage readouts are only active when the main 24-pin or 20-pin ATX connector is properly attached.
- 3.3V Rail Note: If the +3.3V indicator does not light up, please verify if your specific power supply unit features a 5-wire or 4-wire configuration, as 4-wire units lack a +3.3V output.
- Input Requirements: Standard compatible minimum input voltage is 100 Volts (AC) for the power supply unit being tested.

sambartle –
This is great for a quick test of an unknown PSU before connecting tit to anything expensive. You hook it up, and it shorts the PS_ON signals to start the PSU immediately, then displays voltages (they are close enough, but not perfect versus my meter shown in the photos), as well as measuring and displaying the PS_Good signal timing being set by the PSU.Theres no manual supplied so you are left on your own to figure out what goes where and what its telling you, is my only real downside (and I think its probably possible to connect SATA upside down as well)Otherwise, it is a great little tool to just verify a PSU quickly without messing with a multi-meter and jumping the PS_ON Pins.
Me unboxing –
It’s straightforward to use: connect it to the 20/24-pin connector, and the LCD instantly displays voltage readings. I like its compact design and the build quality. This tester helped me quickly identify a faulty PSU, saving me time and hassle.
