WARNING: Instructions are VERY poorly made. Bad pictures and reversed images make it hard to build. See my images to get a better picture because trust me you’ll struggle.Built this for testing pc parts before installing them into my case. Is perfectly sized and small enough. Well built, just improve the pictures in the instructions as they’re not clear at all.

The unit is fine when constructing, configuring, testing and checking your new Computer. It allows you to easily make changes before reassemblig the chosen configuration in your final case.A word of warning:- the instructions are a bit confusing and I think the photos might be mirror images of what is intended. You need to carefully check where each size of screw fits and you should carefully separate each type of screw. The bag of screws was split so I’m still not sure if I have the correct number of screws. With those caveats, it is a good value for money open frame.

Very good for test pc
SomeGuy –
Instructions are rubbish and the threads for motherboard mounts are rough as badger’s however it’s cheap Chinese steel and it does the job of being a test bed mount without much issue so you get what you pay for on that front, in hind sight if I thread tap I would of used that to clean them up
debo –
this will bend the metal fame is so thin and cheap
KonradSB –
The frame looks good, but the screw package only contains four screws (each one different). I’m not returning the product because I’ll be replacing it from my own stock.

Perfectly serves its purpose
Thanks to this frame my watercooled build is now much smaller and fully reversible. Great.

Gets the job done
My philosophy to building PCs is that cases in their entirety are a hinderance to the performance of the PC. You should only ever have a case on your PC if your living situation requires it. You can’t just have the motherboard unmounted though, that’s bad for it and all of the parts on it. This “case” is the perfect answer to it. It’s cheaper than any actual case obviously, less metal means less materials cost. The two most important parts of it, the standoffs and the PCIe card mounting slots, both do what you’d want them to do, nothing more and nothing less.I have only one complaint: the power switch you get to turn the PC on and off while it is perfectly functional does not have a mounting location of any kind for the button.
