I installed this AUTO-VOX reversing camera on my car, and I’m very happy with the results. The picture quality is excellent — clear 1080P video with a wide view but no fisheye distortion. The 180° angle gives great coverage when parking, and it works well even in low light or rain.I really like that it has 6 switchable systems and a simple button for changing views — very convenient. I’ve tried a few after market backup cameras over the years, but the AUTO-VOX blows the others away and honestly feels like it came straight from the factory. Installation was very simple. The wiring harness is clearly labelled, the included drill bit fit perfectly and the whole job on my SUV took a little over half an hour. Once it powered on, the little switch under the dash let me flip through the six view modes instantly no digging through menus so I can swap from normal to mirror image when I’m towing without stopping the car.The picture quality is what really sold me. The 180 degree lens shows everything behind the bumper, yet the edges stay natural with zero fisheye distortion. In daylight, i’ve noticed video is very sharp and at night the camera still picks up details in dim parking garages. I can actually read licence plates behind me in the dark. We’ve already had two spring downpours and one aggressive car wash cycle and the housing hasn’t fogged or leaked a drop.To top it off, the camera sits so flush against the tailgate trim that friends assumed it was OEM equipment. If you’re thinking about replacing a grainy factory camera or adding one for the first time, this device is worth every penny. Clear picture, rugged build and genuinely useful features, easily an upgrade over any other back up camera I have used previously.

Fantastic Camera!I bought this camera to replace one I installed just over a year ago which stopped working, and despite them both being roughly the same price, the AUTO-VOX is way more premium!.It has a full metal body while my other was plastic, and the lens is so much bigger!.It gives a fantastic image whether its day or night…sunny or raining.Installation is made so simple by having a super slim plug and socket which can be easily routed fed easily through small holes, and more than ample cable length to route it out of sight.Add to that an 18 months Extended Warranty shows they are willing to backup their products :).Came very nicely packaged too.Super happy with my purchase! 🙂

Auto-Vox Car Reversing Camera 6. This is new, Robust, waterproof. You will be surprised by the wide-angle view. And if you have a tow bar, you will see it. This will make it easy when you hitch up a trailer. This is a lot better Camera than your old camera. Well worth getting and a lot more viewing at the rear.

Very solidly built with a good and consistent video feed and great picture. Requires connection to your infotainment system and (for some) switching on the instruction to the vehicle to display the feed when in reverse. Older vehicles with less sophisticated screens may require a dedicated aftermarket screen or retrofitting a replacement infotainment system. My 2020 top spec Corsa is fine for the camera, having the Multimedia Navi infotainment console. ChatGPT will give you the specific information you need if you specify the name of your infotainment system or vehicle model, year and spec. Good value camera and looks as if it will outlast the vehicle.

Auto-Vox products really are fantastic. Great quality for the price.I’ve had a few dashcams from the company in the past, but this is the first reversing camera. It was as expected; superb and easy to fit.Picture quality is fantastic and gives really clear idea of whats behind. Driving a high-roof, LWB van, I am relieved to have this visibility, as people tend to ignore reversing vehicles these days and just walk right behind anyway. This will save an unnecessary issues.Would always recommend Auto-Vox, and this reversing camera is another great product.

OEM look, and great wide angle views.
I was be surprised at the quality of this camera. It has a bit of weight to it, it feels very solid! The package it came in was larger than I expected, it to is high quality.I love how this looks, a true OEM design is so much better than my previous camera. The view to the sides are amazing very close to the 180 view stated!I purchased this to use with my Auto-vox V5Pro mirror dash cam. The v5 pro’a camera is very good but a bit bulky, again this new camera looks OEM. The ability to use the stud to hold is nice compared to little screws and the wire can go up through the stud. I choose the tape which also worked great.I am sorry for the reflection and not great picture quality. I was taking pic of the digital rear view display with my phone, but you can compare the two pictures. The very wide angle is this new lense and the other is the original. Picture quality in real life is great, the photos of my screen don’t do justice.The little push button dongle worked to change formats and once i selected the correct format i removed the dongle and stored it in the box for future use.I also include a pic of the two cams where there are mounted for comparison.I hope this helps some of you make a choice.
