using this mount with my Baofeng UV-5R and it fits perfectly with the belt clip. clips in quick, easy to grab, and holds solid even when I’m driving over rough ground. no wobble, no sliding around – finally got the radio somewhere proper.the ball mount is smooth to adjust and stays where I put it, doesn’t droop or come loose after a few bumps. build quality is good, feels tough enough to handle daily use and quick releases without wearing out.simple to fit in the car with my other 25mm ball gear – just clipped straight on. makes using the UV-5R in the vehicle way more organised.if you’ve got a UV-5R and want a no-fuss, solid mount that actually holds tight, this is a brilliant option. well happy with it.

One of those product you’ll never need until you really need it! I have a couple ’23 Broncos that I use off road. Recently started going out with groups so I needed to purchase a couple GMRS radios. The radios need to be secured or they’ll bounce off who knows where. :)I purchased the Sunsdrew 3-in-1 Bronco Car Phone Holder Mount and ARKON Mounts SP142017MM Female Camera Threaded Pattern to 17mm Ball to mount my Garmin GPS, tablet GPS, etc. a couple years ago, so I already had a rock solid ZERO vibration platform to mount the HYS radio holder to. What I still needed was a handheld microphone holder. For that I bought the HYS mounting holder mount base and another ARKON SP142017MM 17mm ball. Everything mounted right to the front of the Sunsdrew.This works great! No vibration. No worry of stuff vibrating loose. No worries about damaging the dash. Everything within easy reach!I have Retevis HA1G and HA2 radios and they fit this holder perfectly! The radios are stout so they need a rock solid platform. I highly recommend all the above parts!

Il est, à quelques détails près, intégralement en plastique, mais il n’est pas fragile pour autant.Intégré sur un bras articulé via sa boule au format quart de pouce, il retient mon Ba*feng même quand je le fais tenir uniquement par le clip au dos du talkie-walkie. L’élastique est un peu difficile à manipuler à la volée, mais l’appareil est complètement solidaire du support une fois qu’il est en place. Plus aucun jeu n’est possible. En retirant la boule au dos du support, on peut utiliser le pas de vis au format quart de pouce rendu disponible avec tout un tas d’autres accessoires.Au final, je suis satisfait de ce produit. Il est bien conçu, pratique, et il tient ses promesses. Vendu 20€, c’est un investissement, mais c’est une solution de maintien sécurisé qui fonctionne vraiment.

I was able to use this mount with a suction cup base on my car windshield (sold separately, this only comes with the radio holder) with zero issues.The build quality is decent, but I’m worried about the quality of the elastic band that holds the radio in place. I was able to fit a Motorola XTS1500, XTS5000, and a few Baofeng radios without any problem. The main issue with larger radios is the weight, so its better to have a stronger base that you connect the holder to. The mount also has a belt clip holder for even more protection against falls.There is space between all of my radios and the side of the holder, causing them to slide a little with turns, bumps, and anything else that shakes the car, but I’m not worried about them sliding out.One bonus is that the texture of the plastic is very similar to the plastic of my Motorola radio’s, making it almost look OEM.Overall, the price is good, and I have confidence in this holder keeping my radio’s in place. Please note that you do need a strong base to connect it to. I dropped a star as the elastic band could be better.

Great way to attach a HT radio
You can use this for any HT. I have a Baofeng, Yaesu, and QRZ-1 Explorer 2m/70cm dual transceivers and this works with all of them. You may have to adapt how you use it to get to the buttons you want. I used this to attach my HT to a home-brew Yagi antennae made of PVC and measuring tape. So this was perfect for my usage. If you’re doing satellite comms and want to put your HT on a tripod or even a little spider tripod on a table, this will work great. Really happy with it and recommend it.

Rock solid holder for your two way radio
I don’t think I have see a handheld mount that is as secure as this. Locks in the rear with either a belt clip or a mounting button and has the added functionality of the bungie across the front that prevents the radio from rattling around. The fit, finish, and quality is superb. I can’t complain about the price either, it’s a pretty good deal. I was looking for something to hold my radio securely while off-roading and this is the only holder I’ve used so far that keeps the radio completely stationary.
