Good for long distance communication or talking in a built up area where normal radios would struggle. Battery life is around 40 hours of standby.Lacking in certain features offered by competitors like GPS tracking which doesn’t seem to work for me. No SOS button which is offered by other radios.Sound quality is good, easy to hear the communications. Range is practically unlimited.Build quality is quite poor, some of the rubber that covers the usb ports keep popping out and it’s quite annoying, feels cheaply made with a poor quality screen although it is still good value for money considering the price, you wouldn’t expect something polished.

These Radios were extremely well packaged. They worked right out of the box. The signal and audio are fantastic. One dislike is the battery latch could be improved. Other that that they are excellent. Call quality is excellent, battery is excellent and audio is excellent.

This is my first review ever on thinkassemble.co.uk. These G9 radios are superior. The audio quality is as good as the Motorola government edition. Very loud and clear. I have not experienced any choppy transmissions. They work just like the Nextel phones used to work. Customer service is very responsive, I now have 4 radios. All I had to do was send Global-PTT a message with the information and now all 4 radios are on the same network and working flawlessly. These radios work no matter the distance between radio users. I highly recommend for quick communication between members. Thank you Global-PTT for the prompt customer support.
