This CB radio and aerial set up is easy to set up and easy to use. The sound is clear.The aerial sits on the roof off my car, feeds in through the boot and the cable reaches all the way to the front of my 7 seater galaxy.The microphone feels reassuring solid.All in all, very easy for a complete beginner.

Great quality item, works exceptionally well. Easy to set up. Amazing compact size enables you to fit/store the unit pretty much wherever you want. Transmission and reception quality is terrific. Just make sure you have, or have access to, the appropriate meter to tune the aerial before using it.

I always wanted a CB. Maybe I should have bought something to check my aerial but I bough the recommended Thunderpole aerial. But I’ve driven all around for the past couple of months and I’ve yet to hear another voice. I’ve been up and down the M6. I’ve come to the conclusion that CB radio is dead.

this is a really good piece of kit, had 40+ mile contact although I was up a hill so had plenty of line of sight.Buy/borrow a SWR meter and tune the antenna will give you better transmission and receiving
