Keeps doorbell charging in the spring / summer months. Do need the occasional charge in winter but does the job most of the year.

Installation was straightforward and surprisingly quick. I mounted the solar panel directly to the wooden door frame using the provided screws, ensuring they were snug but not overtightened to avoid damaging the panel The original backing plate from the ring doorbell was reattached and securely fastened to the new solar charger unit, providing a stable base. The doorbell was then connected to the charging port using the attached Type-C connector. I made sure the connector block was properly seated in the recessed area of the charger to ensure a solid connection. The doorbell unit then clicked firmly into place on the backing plate without any issues or need for adjustment. After five full days of regular use, including numerous doorbell rings and associated video recordings, the battery indicator still displays 100%, indicating excellent charging performance.

I have several Ring devices. The outdoor and indoor cameras are brilliant. The large, separate solar panel to use with the outdoor camera also works perfectly.The problem with this semi-integral unit is the description on thinkassemble.co.uk. There are several different types. On the one I needed, it told you all the models that it DID work with. On the one I didn’t need, it told you all the versions it WAS compatible with.thinkassemble.co.uk own Ring, so it should be very straightforward. I’m very disappointed. In general, the Ring Doorbells aren’t as good as the other products. They’re still pretty good though, so I wouldn’t hesitate in buying another one

I had the previous ring solar charger and never had a problem with my doorbell running out of charge so I decided to upgrade to the latest model of the doorbell and had to upgrade the charger as well. The charger is easy to install and the doorbell fit on it perfectly so I’m a happy customer

Works really well for me after two days. Used to get to around 75% battery used over a day as we have frequency set to high. Since getting the solar it has dropped to 98% overnight but as the sun hits it back to 100% soon after.

I have only had this 5 mins & i am very pleased with it already. I hope that it will stay being amazing as I am so pleased with it, as I only got this today & its not charged up very well by my the USB lead & its gone outside & charged too 100% already in the rain. 😀. I would definitely recommend it & people have the option of instalments,if someone wants it.

Permet de recharger sa sonnette ring sans avoir à la brancherEntre le chargeur solaire et la sonnette et si en plus vous payez l’abonnement ring alors vous êtes certains de ne louper aucun avis de passage de chronopost.Par contre pas besoin d’abonnement pour avoir les notifications de sonnette des autre livreur. Ca tombe direct sur votre téléphone. Au top !!
