These work perfectly… I only use a iPhone for the Find My App – currently use Air Tags for tracking my cats… but they have lost a couple – so thought I would try these.They seem to work just as well ast the AIr Tags – extremely easy to set up.The only negative is the Silicone Protector is useless – the tag easily fits into the protector, but it is hardly held in place and very easily comes out… I will NOT be using these protectors.Other than the silcone protectors, I would say these are great – at £30.99 (September 2025), I would say that’s a fair price for 4 of these tags.Rating 4⭐️ based on features, functionality, quality and price… would have rated 5* if the silcone protectors were a lot better.

I ordered the iXTRA Tracker Tag Bluetooth Air Tracker (4 Pack, White) through the Vine programme, so I was able to receive it free of charge in return for an impartial review. An opportune moment with someone in the household mislaying their keys and then spending over an hour hunting for them made me decide to offer tags to all members of my household for their key sets (I already had one on my own keys).Set-up and Everyday UsePairing through the Apple Find My app was quick and simple. Once connected, I used the “Share Item” feature so that each key owner could also see and track their tag on their own iPhone. This worked seamlessly, meaning we can all monitor the tags without needing to share an Apple ID. I believe you need iOS17 or later for this feature.Real-world TrackingThe most striking example came a few days later when my eldest daughter travelled abroad to attend a cousin’s wedding and took her house keys with her. At any moment I could open Find My and see her location, and I verified this by messaging for confirmation. We had already tested the location tracking in the UK, but somehow seeing it update in another country was even more impressive. That is the strength of Apple’s Find My system, and these compatible tags worked flawlessly.Not GPS, but Very EffectiveThese are not GPS trackers that provide constant live updates. Like Apple’s own AirTags, they use Bluetooth when nearby and rely on Apple’s global Find My network when another iPhone or iPad comes within range. This gives the most recently reported location, which in everyday use is accurate and reliable.Design and CompatibilityThe tags are compact and light at 28.72 mm in diameter, 7.81 mm thick, and 8 g in weight. By comparison, Apple’s AirTags measure 31.9 mm, 8.0 mm thick, and 11 g. The iXTRA tags are therefore slightly smaller and lighter but still fit into accessories designed for AirTags, though sometimes a little less snugly. They are officially MFi certified, meaning they integrate fully and securely with Apple’s Find My app. A useful extra is that the app also shows the remaining battery level, so you know when it is time to replace the CR2032 cell. Battery life is expected to be up to a year, making them practical for long-term use.Value for MoneyAt this price for four, I think they are excellent value. Really impressed with the performance and quality of this well designed tag. Very easy to connect and use, tracks correctly and haven’t had any issues with it at all. Good to have for safety of valued items. Solid built and doesn’t looks or feels cheap, good value for money overall.
