I don’t normally write thinkassemble.co.uk reviews but I am so impressed with this watch that it felt appropriate to do so.I have been a long-time Apple Watch user but I wanted a watch that was less smartwatch and more sports watch, so I’d been considering Garmin watches for a little while but I was put off by their bulky size. The Venu X1 has no such issues, it is super-slim and super-light and I barely notice it under a shirt sleeve. I was concerned that the screen might be a bit too big, especially as I have fairly thin wrists, but it is absolutely fine and I love the screen real estate, clarity and responsiveness. During exercise, the light weight means it doesn’t bounce on the wrist and the screen size makes it so easy to read.Best of all it has all of the Garmin features you would get on any other top Garmin watch, but for me, it’s in a much more user-friendly package.Battery life is exceptional, especially coming from an Apple Watch. I prefer to have the display set to only come on if I touch it, so it stays dark if I am not using it (I used my Apple Watch the same way) and this gives more than 9 days of use before it needs to be charged. Even if you prefer to have the display on all the time, you are still going to get days of use between charges. The build quality is excellent, the software is slick and responsive and the functionality is enormous. It is a very usable, customisable watch. So far it has exceeded my expectations and I am enjoying the extra insights and benefits it gives me for my sport and training.

After many year using Apple Watch and tester many other devices in a few months, I have tested this Garmin one and decided to keep using! Similar metrics with 975 and premium as apple ultra, but thinner and beautiful screen! Ver satisfied with my choice! If you want a more professional experience with sports, 7 days battery and premium quality, I highly recommend this one!

Excellent product. Good battery life, looks nice and feature rich. Only wish it had a more classier watch belt.

It’s the lightest most comfortable watch I’ve ever owned. The screen is absolutely brilliant and so easy to read in any light. Maps are outstanding as well as the normal Garmin fitness features. Took me about an hour to get used to the square screen but I’m really happy with it. Great watch.

Brilliant. Amazing screen, easy to use, and I can see info when I don’t wear my glasses. It’s so clear. The only downside, on the latest software update, the ability to use British Grid Reference dissappeared. I got in touch with Garmin UK who tested their watch, and it did the same on their update. So, hopefully it will be rectified in the next update. As a normal daily wear, this is great for tracking health metrics. However, it’s no Applewatch. I’ve tried the voice assistant feature, and it’s not very good. It works, but it’s frustrating. You can answer calls from the watch, and play music on it. There isn’t a youtube music app for Venu X1 yet, unlike the Fenix/Epix range. Battery life is roughly 7 days with a normal 1 hour workout each day.Overall though, this is fantastic.Update: Not what I expected so sadly I am returning. It’s a shame. They have basically turned this into an crapper version of an Apple Watch.

I had previously reviewed the watch after using it for few days only . Following its return , I went back to Apple Watch Ultra 2 and the watch weight difference was noticeable. To cut a long story short , I have bought the Venu 1x again , this time with no presumptuous attitude. In general, it is a rather personal decision whether you would like or dislike the watch . If you want a sports watch with some smart activity , this watch will not disappoint you . If you rely on the Apple ecosystem , then this may not be for you . I am somewhere in the middle , using the watch to record HIIT , cardio and resistance training .Update on garmin pay , I’ve managed to register a Santander card successfully.Battery life – so far after the software update , from 2 to 5 days without using AOD.So far , I’ve no regrets buying it .

Best Garmin watch that I have own. The one before was Fenix 5 plus. 🙂

The watch is amazingly light and thin, and the screen is fantastic. The strap is comfortable. But upon closer inspection I could see glue blobs at the top between the case and bezel. On a watch costing almost £700 I expect perfect build quality.I also found the buttons hard and clicky and the plastic sides look cheap. There is no wireless charging and the proprietary charging point is a pain to get to because the strap is in the way.The OS occasionally black screened on me when moving through the menus. As an owner of an Ultra 2 the difference in build quality is stark, this feels far inferior.I returned mine reluctantly because faults aside it’s a wonderful watch.

Schweizer Taschenmesser fürs Handgelenk!
Endlich, was ich gesucht hab!

Buen reloj mala interfaz
A ver…
