Bought for my dog because she didn’t bark at builders who worked on our roof and she loves him. The other reviews saying that the monkey is poorly made or easily ripped are laughable, the monkey is the same quality you would find in Pets at Home or another pet store. He’s obviously not meant to be pulled around and played tug of war with, so I would imagine that’s what’s happened to a lot of these other people. If your dog takes care of their toys this will be a great toy for them!!

My boy loves this. I have brought loads over the years. He does like to chew the legs and arms off fairly quickly but then continues to play with a legless and armless body.

It rips very easily so unsafe for pets. My friends dog was not even a rough chewer . The seemsare very brittle and the toy vomes apart at the armpits with stuffing exposed which is a choking risk for pets. Can be dangerous as well as expensive vet bill if ingested. Id recommend a kong which is more durable.

i bought one of these monkeys 8 years ago when our dogs were puppies and it was their favourite toy and played with daily until it was no longer safe to play with! By this time I was unable to find it anywhere to replace the much loved toy. We have recently bought a new pup and scrolling through dog toys on thinkassemble.co.uk I was delighted to find it again. The toy has arrived this morning and not only does the new puppy want to play with it but the older dogs want it too! Not sure how long it will last it’s being tugged round the room as I write! (I’ve just ordered another while I can) 🙊

Opened the package and thought “what a cute toy”. Presented it to dog & even before he’d grabbed it we noticed one of the legs was torn. On exploring further it was clear the stitching process had failed to contect the leg to the body. We thought about returning it, but decided to sew it in place and see how it would hold. So far, so good. The dog likes it, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to do tug with it as the limbs don’t appear robust enough to hold. As I finished writing this review my husband was playing with toy & dog and the hanging loop on the head came off! Very poor, may still send back at this rate – not fit for purpose!

My dogs have great fun with these stuffed animals.
My two small dogs love these! Yes, they pull the stuffing out of them and eventually pull the arms and legs off of them when playing tug of war but they have a great time playing with them. My dogs are rescues and they deserve to have some fun after they were dumped somewhere on the road. Also, yours are less expensive than at the store and come delivered to my door.

Great affordable plush
Very cute, inexpensive toy. The size is perfect too – it’s a larger plush but doesn’t have extremely long dangly legs like some of the other plushies.My pup loves plush toys and this one was a big hit. It didn’t last very long but no toys ever do with our dog. She ripped this one up quick and still loves to play with the what’s left of it. I’ll likely buy more and wish there were more animal types!

I bought this for my horse. Why would you buy a dog toy for a horse? Because my horse is a very large dog. He loved it, although did manage to pull of both the legs, but possibly due to it being hung by the neck. He also broke the squeakers, but hey, he’s got pretty big teeth. He just wanted his buddy to play. Dog is probably going to pull it apart too, but it is inexpensive, and really that’s all a dog wants. To pull things apart.
