Sir Vic –
Great!
The item received with thanks and as described.

Not that great
Having used the dualit coffee grinder, i was really disappointed with its performance. In my opinion it didnt grind the beans as fine as the Dualit grinder and is much more noisier (finely ground coffee beans make a much better espresso with nice crema). Annoyingly i would find residuals of ground coffee on top of the ground coffee storage cup which spill onto the worktop each time i pulled the storage cup out. Sent back after a day or two use.

Great Quality, Fast and Efficient Grinder
This grinder makes a very good first impression. It feels solid, well-made, and even sounds like a quality machine. For household use, it’s extremely efficient and grinds much faster than the conventional small grinders I’ve used before.
I had hoped it would produce a very fine grind suitable for Turkish or Greek-style coffee. While the result is not quite as fine as required for that, it’s still at an acceptable level—comparable to small grinders but much quicker. I even tried grinding the coffee three times, but it didn’t make much difference beyond the first round.
I believe it will also work very well for spices and herbs, although I haven’t tested that yet.
Overall, I definitely recommend this grinder. It offers great value for money and is an excellent choice for everyday use.

Not “HighTech” but value for money!
I wanted something that wasn’t going to have a large footprint on the worktop and be easy to use and clean. The Melitta meets the first criteria but is a little fiddly for the second. When grinding the beans some of the coffee powder (dust) leaks out past the container, making it a bit messy. It is a bit tricky getting it all cleaned after a grind although a small brush which is supplied helps. The grind adjustment is simple and sufficient for me, time to grind is quite quick although a little noisy but hey we’re crunching stuff!
On the whole I’m quite satisfied with the item for the price

Great value grinder
If you’re looking for a burr grinder this is excellent for the price. My previous model was a Krups which had two main niggles. The coursest setting was still very fine for a cafetière and the static on the plastic hopper made getting the coffee out a bit messy. The Melitta goes from very course to fine. Although I’ve not tried the finest settings it should be good. The plastic hopper suffered from static at first but this has gone away with use so its cleaner to use. It is noisy while its grinding but to be expected for this type of product.

Works well.
This replaced my Krups grinder. It works just as well and seem to have more adjustments for fineness of gring and quantity. The container that the ground coffee is collected in has a tight fitting lid and the grind is noisy but soon over.

Great value
This is a very good bean grinder for the price. Has a dial so that you can grind bean as fine as you need depending on your filter. I do a batch at a time

Sturdy and great range of grind – good quality item

A Good Budget Grinder
A good budget grinder. I like a very fine grind and the machine produces this quickly. It does have a tendency to blow a small amount of very fine grounds out from round the hopper but it’s not a big problem. I’ve not used it on a coarser grind but I would expect it to work just as well.

An excellent coffee grinder
The Melita Molino Electrical Coffee Grinder works perfectly at producing a “Turkish Grind” (a real fine grind) for making expresso or for using in a drip coffee maker for a real dark rich pot of coffee when using dark French Roast coffee beans.

Excellent value and works very well
Quick and easy to use. It is noisy but then I’m guessing that grinding coffee beans is always going to be noisy and its only a matter of seconds. It has worked great for me to grind for my Cafetière. Easy to clean.

Great grinder and Great price
The grinder works great and the portions are realistic. Makes better coffee with fresh ground. Basket is a little static at first and the grounds stick to the side, but after a few washed and wipe downs this stops.

Melitta Molino Coffee Grinder
A really good machine for converting coffee beans to ready for brewing. Handy to grind beans for one cup or 10 cup percolator. The machine also has a function as to whether grind beans to a coarse or fine powder.

Good value for money!
A powerful gadget that takes up very little counter space in my small kitchen. Multiple grind settings (espresso, filter, French press). Easy to use and clean. A bit noisy but what coffee grinder isn’t?

Melitta coffee grinder
Coffee just tastes better with this grinder which is so easy to use, I particularly like that you can choose how many cups to grind as well as various grind settings for whichever coffee preparation.

Great coffee grinder
For under 40 quid this is great. We grind on no.2 for espresso with crema. Grind size options for different uses plus dial on front to set quantity to grind. It’s quick but it’s quite noisy and the hopper gets static (just tap the sides to settle the grounds). Great if you don’t want to spend an absolute fortune on a professional one.
tanj666 –
Overall, very pleased
It does the job and quite nicely too. The front dial is actually a timer function, the numbers mean not number of cups, but instead mean absolutely nothing. To grind a double shot espresso needs a setting of about 9 rather than a 2. The grind setting on the side is ok, 1-3 is a very very fine grind. Again I’m using a 9 to grind for my Aeropress.
The machine has multiple safety switches, the top lid must be on, the collector has to be in place and so does it’s lid.
Paulh86 –
Great for the price
For the price, I can’t argue with how good this grinder is. Following the guide for your grind setting is a good starting point, but It takes a bit of fine tuning to get the amount of coffee and the consistency you need, but once you’re set, you can just switch it on and get consistent results every time. It is a little noisy, but it’s an electric coffee grinder, it’s going to be. I doubt anything else at this price could compare to this grinder, so it was a good buy for me

Decent value for money burr grinder.
Bought to use for pour over and Moka pot duties.
Works fine for this with appropriate range of grind size. Only used it a few times so far but the main drawback seems to be the static that it generates resulting in quite a lot of small particles remaining attached to the grinds holder as well as the area of the grinder itself where this sits – quite messy. Other than that it’s fine for a cheap burr grinder.
