Best industrial vacuum
This vacuum is perfect for trade jobs, garage jobs, water jobs or even cleaning the car. Incredible suction and very rarely blocks up thanks to the strong hose. Packs away easily and has an easy release for water if you use it as a wet vac. Only downsides are the bags aren’t cheap or easy to get hold of, but you don’t need to run a bag so may not be a problem if you do this. The cable for the plug isn’t very long so may need an extension lead depending on where your sockets are located. Other than that I would highly recommended this vacuum.

Great in the workshop
Brilliant for the workshop. I do a lot of wood turning and this copes really well. It’s easy to empty and clean the built in filter. I’ve not used it for a wet clean up, but have no doubt it will be just as good.

Good but could be better
Could be a great machine but unfortunately a couple of minor things really let it down, the power lead should be 10-12 meters but for some reason they have made it 2 meters so the reach is awful, and also it needs a swivel on the hose at the attachment end as the hose is really stiff so vacuuming a car is really awkward.

Powerful Vacuum Just Needs a Longer Cable
The DEWALT Wet & Dry Corded Vacuum Cleaner, 38 Litre with 2.1m Hose is fantastic. It has powerful suction for both wet and dry messes, and the large capacity is perfect for heavy duty jobs. The long hose makes it easy to reach difficult areas, and the build quality is excellent, just as you’d expect from DEWALT. The only downside is the power cable is a bit short, so an extension lead might be needed. Otherwise, it’s a reliable and versatile choice. Highly recommend

Quality product
Having used this several times since purchasing I find the overall build quality excellent, the vac has a large storage area, is ergonomic to use, comes with appropriate easy to fit filters for dust or water. I purchased dust bags which are great if cleaning up lots of fine plaster dust, otherwise not really needed.

Does the Job Namely Sucks Dirt
I bought it to clean the garage.
Does the job – used it on the, floor, walls, leaves, mouse droppings and spider webs.
Put on some ear defenders so the noise is no hassle.
I used the disposable paper bag – rather expensive, but has a large capacity.
Cable is rather short, so used an extension cord.

Best vacuum out there, and I own every major brand
I own three other vacuums, this is the best though; Hoovers up everything, the 1500 W of power ensures nothing gets missed in a multi animal household with four boys, dirt ,hair ,fur, sweet wrappers, chips , crisp packets Lego bricks, socks ,pants, it’s now a joy to clean the boys bedrooms anything laying on the floor , guaranteed gone. Several of my friends have bought one through my account my friend’s home was flea infested and this got on top of it. It’s perfect if you ever have a flood. It can handle water too.
Only downside it’s huge and heavy, the power cord is too short you will need an extension lead .
the hose is long enough you can hoover room edge to room edge without moving the hoover although It’s like a boa constrictor, you will get wrapped up in it

It’s so powerful cleaned both cars lovely. I also did carpets inside as have dogs. Thought my hoover lifted all the dog hairs but so pleasantly surprised that this lifted even more

This is worth having around for DIY jobs. It’s excellent for tidy-up and is much more robust than your domestic vacuum cleaner. Spare yourself £600 replacing your Dyson when dust and debris break it – by investing in one of these for your DIY jobs. I picked this up at thinkassemble.co.uk online for £70 but it was £65 in warehouse!
