Best vacuum I ever owned!
Love this! It’s probably the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. Easy to store because it’s an upright. Vauums from hard floor to carpet with ease and you can audibly hear the change in suction. Cleans very well. Love that it empties into another chamber when you place it back in the stand for emptying later. The charge lasts well to vacuum a 3 bedroom house. I have no stairs but it wouldn’t be a problem as it can change to a handheld.

Not happy
I had high hopes for the Shark Clean & Empty Cordless Vacuum (BU3521UK), especially because of the self-emptying feature that part is convenient and works well. But sadly the cleaning performance is very poor.
On carpets, it completely fails to pick up hair it just flattens it instead. I tried vacuuming from every angle but the hair stays stuck. Even on hard floors, it struggles with small crumbs and tissue bits. Sometimes dirt even falls back out from the brush area after cleaning.
At this price I expected much better. It looks smart and sounds good on paper, but if it can’t handle basic mess, it’s not worth it. I’ll be returning mine and wouldn’t recommend it especially if you have carpets or pets.

Best vacuum we’ve ever had
We had a shark corded vacuum for years and it’s still going strong so I knew that the build quality would be good. We have had a Gtech cordless vacuum in addition to the shark for a few years now so I am used to a cordless vacuum also.
I saw Shark clean and empty in store at a really good price and decided to give it a try but wanted to read some online reviews first. They all seem to say it was good so I went ahead and ordered online through thinkassemble.co.uk. This was the first time I had ordered online from them and won’t be the last because it was super quick delivery and very easy transaction. The vacuum comes in pieces and you have to put it together, but it is a simple process. I have put the base unit in a cupboard under my stairs where it sits in the corner and I couldn’t be happier with how the vacuum sits in it and is always fully charged when I want to use it. When you have finished vacuuming and place it onto the base unit you get 10 seconds of automatic suction to empty what you have just picked up from the floor where it then sits in a larger storage bin in the Base station. This facility is amazing and we have been using it now for two or three weeks without having to empty the Base station once yet.
The vacuum itself is nice and light and transitions from hard floor to carpet intelligently. This is a simple case of providing more power once it is in carpet mode to lift the dirt out of carpet fibres more adequately and I have found this to work well. In fact The extra power actually makes it a little more difficult to use on carpet then my Gtech was but I forgive it because the actual job it does of cleaning the carpets is five times better.
Living in a house with three girls and a dog means usually the brush roller gets clogged up with stray hairs all the time. This is not the case with this model as it has anti-hair wrap technology on the roller. This is basically rose of rubber fins which stop the hair being pushed down into the roller bristles and is working perfectly since we’ve had it as I have not noticed any hair wrapped around the roller brush yet.
All in all I will thoroughly recommend this model and I have not noticed any feature or function yet which I would comment negatively on. The price I paid from thinkassemble.co.uk was far better than anywhere else I could find online and if you can get it at a reasonable price, it is a great deal

Don’t waste your money
This is the worst vacuum cleaner that we have ever owned. The suction is terrible, it doesn’t pick up any real dirt. The battery only lasts about 20 minutes. It just doesn’t work on carpet. Don’t waste your money on this product, it is awful.

Very powerful vacuum cleaner
This vac was easy to unpack and put together, it is lightweight and controls are simple. I was amazed at the amount of dirt and dust it picked up, I thought my carpets were very clean before I used this as they get vacuumed a couple of times a day but this still picked up a lot. All in all a great vacuum cleaner
