Glad I chose this model
Excellent shredder, works very efficiently and smoothly, much quieter than I expected. It shreds very well, and I will be using the shredded paper and card as packaging materials if I send a parcel, or using it in the bottom of plant pots. Saved my arthritic hands from having to tear my private details from letters etc. Very heavy top part but once in place it doesn’t need moving again unless I have any problem with anything getting stuck (which I haven’t so far). I haven’t tried shredding credit cards or CDs but I can tell it will have no problems as it cuts through thick cardboard sleeves like butter.
