Excellent Taste and Value
I always get one of these hams for Christmas as it’s my husband’s favourite. The taste is fantastic and once cooked all the leftovers freeze nicely. I do slices for dinners and sandwiches and use scraps for soups, pastas and my chicken, ham and leek pie. The bones make a really tasty stock. I’ve tried this ham roasted and also simmered in in Cola before glazing in the oven. Both methods of cooking are equally delicious but it is maybe slightly saltier when it is just roasted. In saying that I don’t steep it beforehand to remove any.extra saltiness. This would be the perfect joint of meat for a large family. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent it was a lot more in weight than 9.5kg it cooked beautifully i didnt soak it and it wasnt too salty i got thd smoked and this wasnt too over the top either it is fantastic value and will buy again and certainly recommend we had loads left over and froze some left overs as the would feed an army.

Tender, flavoursome gammon at reasonable price.
Beautiful gammon, tender and full of flavour. Efficiently packaged, it arrived on time and the ice packs still contained some ice so it was really fresh. Having the approximate servings, I realised how big this joint would be and how I would need to cook it. I used the oven method but you could cut this into smaller pieces to steam/pressure cook it. I would thoroughly recommend this gammon.

An amazing purchase I have had these ham’s the last 5 years and never fail to impress I boil the ham first before roasting (be aware you will need a massive pot) and will definitely be purchasing again

Got this as one of our meats for Christmas and it didn’t disappoint. Still have some frozen to make meals with. Only thing I would say is make sure your oven is big enough as this is a large item. Will be buying again

We buy a bone in ham every Christmas-this is the first time we have purchased one from -but it won’t be the last! We have paid twice as much as this before -so I was a bit sceptical when ordering-but no need to be!-delivery was on the day we specified, ham was well packed (& cold!)- taste was excellent-couldn’t fault the product, value or indeed the whole ordering/delivery process

Awesome
I bought this gammon for Christmas 2018 and it didn’t disappoint. I buy gammon every year at Christmas and this was by far the tastiest and best value for money I have ever had. It was huge, we had to cut and freeze some as we didn’t have a big enough pot to cook it in. It came well wrapped and fed everyone over Christmas. I will definitely be ordering one for Christmas this year.

Arrived on day selected when ordered online in a well packaged insulated box with cooling sachets so good service from . Slow cooked and honey roasted with cloves and bay leaves it is really tasty and served up lots of carved meat for a large party of people, fifth time I have ordered so definitely recommend.

Great Gammon
A really lovely Gammon. We cooked it slowly, overnight in the oven. It was too big for any pan we have! Only slight problem was when delivered one of the ice packs had burst in transit. However the Gammon was shrink wrapped, so we were OK.

NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING !!!
When I ordered this item I thought it was a cooked gammon joint as from the description given and picture shown on website.. but it was not. So I was very disappointed when I received my order.
So please be aware..
but I would like to say that it was lovely .. very tasty and exceptionally good value for money.
It took 12 hours to cook .. and I did have to Google this information as it came with no instructions.

Best ham and ever had
Best ham and ever had. This was a huge ham, so we couldn’t fit it in a pot to boil it. We ended up just rising it, but I was worried that it may end up being too salty without boiling first. The result however was spectacular. Tasted amazing and so tender. Made for incredible sandwiches over Christmas. Will be getting another next Christmas.

We looked everywhere for a whole gammon on the bone got from butchers last year cost £75 and was not that good found this one on your website had to pay extra 5% as not members but was still only £42.00 fantastic value for money tasted beautiful will defo go back for another one next year

excellent gammon. had to borrow a massive pot from my local, and even then, had to cut a lump off to fit it in.. offcut used as gammon steaks, and the rest boiled in Coca-Cola. best gammon we’ve had, and will order again next christmas

I bought this for the first time for Christmas. It was Huge! It was absolutely delicious and I am still using portions which I had frozen and it’s still as tender and tasty.
