Majestic hamper substitutions….beware!
Our experience with this hamper was horrendous.
Ordered in September for Christmas and on Dec 23rd delivery was good, then we opened it!
There was at least 7 items that had been substituted, including the Champagne and prosseco’s,unfortunately for us to brands we weren’t keen on.
’s response was to give us the option of returning it for a full refund, which had it not been too close to Christmas to get a alternative elsewhere I would have taken.
There was absolutely no notification that this was going to happen or choice in the matter.
If we had been notified, we’d have cancelled the order for sure.
We explained this to who contacted the suppliers who in turn offered a £40 refund as a good will gesture.
My view is, this wasn’t good enough however as it had taken three months to get this far I accepted.
So based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend the hamper and certainly will not be making any future Christmas orders with .
For us it definitely wasn’t “Majestic”

The Majestic party hamper was fabulous and was a wonderful gift to send. Delivery was a day late, but it is a covid year! I ordered in September but the money wasn’t taken until after delivery. Wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it.

Great Christmas hamper
Loved the hamper. The basket is currently being used as my firewood basket so that alone is worth at least £30. Good variety of biscuits, chocolate and wine too. Will order again next year if available.
