Ron Zacapa Sistema Solera 23 Rum, 70cl

Zacapa rum was founded in 1976, in Zacapa, Guatemala. Zacapa 23 is a blend of rums aged 6 to 23 in casks that have previosuly held American whiskies and fine wines.

Tasting Notes:

Soft on the nose with aromas of caramel and vanilla, developting into notes of roasted brazil nuts, dried pineapple and roasted hazelnuts. A complex mouthfeel with depths of dried fruit buiding to savoury notes of nutmeg and tobacco. A complex rum with an intricate spiced oak finish.

Suggested Recipe: Zacapa Daiquiri

– 45ml Zacapa No. 23 Rum
– 25ml Lime Juice
– 14ml Simple Syrup
– Lime Wheel

– Add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker flled with ice. Shake well and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
