Pangeas newest gecko diet formula with the delicious taste of Organic Fig and insects. This Banana free formula has a strong Fig smell and flavour to entice your picky geckos.

The absence of bananas is perfect for geckos that don’t seem to really like banana flavour foods. By using other base fruits we were able to incorporate fig into the diet while still maintaining very low levels of Oxalic acid.

We have incorporated crickets and black soldier fly larvae as the main source of protein. This formula has twice the amount of insects as our original “With Insects” formula

Pangea Fig & Insects mixes up a bit thinner than other formulas due to not having the banana as an ingredient, but the geckos seem to like this thinner mix.

It can be more difficult to see lick marks so we recommend offering smaller amounts to begin with so you can see it disappear.

The insects we use in the food are North American farm raised and certified Organic. Researched, developed, and tested for two years here at Pangea on one of the largest collections of geckos in the world.

Pangea Fruit Mix Apricot Complete Gecko Diet –

Formulated to have higher fat and protein content than other versions of Pangea Fruit Mix while still being extremely palatable to your geckos.

The apricot diet incorporates three complete animal based protein sources.. We use microfiltered, undenatured Micellar Casein as a unique slower digesting protein source.

We top that off with both Whole Egg, and Whey Protein Isolate for an incredibly complete protein combination.

The Apricot PFM has a high fat content as well. Great for geckos that won’t or don’t eat any insects.

The vitamin and mineral content is top notch to keep your geckos healthy, and produces excellent growth, reproduction, and stunning egg quality!

Pangea Gecko Diet Growth and Breeding Formula –

A complete gecko diet, PBF is designed to fulfil the unique requirements of reproductive crested geckos but can be fed to geckos of all life stages.

The main source of fat and protein in this food is from Insects (crickets and black soldier fly larvae) while still remaining palatable and well liked by almost all geckos.

The fruits used are a delicious blend of Bananas and Apricots that creates a feeding response similar to our other formulas. The higher fat levels help keep egg production strong throughout the breeding season.

The calcium level is near the maximum level for a complete diet. It is safe and sometimes necessary to add a little plain calcium to the food if your females are becoming depleted. Alternatively, you can offer plain calcium in a dish for your females to lick from as needed.

To get the most out of this diet, you should offer fresh food at least every other day during the breeding season even though there will be some waste. Smaller more frequent feedings are more appropriate for breeders than sparse feedings on which they tend to gorge themselves.

Live dusted insects are optional but you can offer once or twice a week in place of PBF for variety and to help keep your geckos active and stimulated.

PBF was is ideally suited as a breeder formula but can be fed to geckos of all life stages. It is showing a lot of promise as a growth formula however it was developed and tested with breeders so it will take more time before we can conclusively make that claim.
