Chateau Grand-Puy Ducasse Pauillac GCC 2020, 75cl

Standing since 1675, the vineyards of Chateau Grand Puy-Ducasse are scattered throughout Pauillac with the cellar located in the town itself. Ranked 5th Growth in the 1855 classification, the vines are a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot.

Tasting Note:

Sweet berry fruit, damson, blackberry and spiced vanilla oak. Expressive, with firm tannins and clear depth of flavour and personality. Good quality, and an affordable 1855 Pauillac, that rare beast.
